July 27th 17th Sunday in ordinary time.
Jesus, this week Your church celebrates a saint who tried
with all of her being to be the perfect hostess.
She got upset when her sister Mary just wanted to sit at
Your feet and listen to You.
Lord, helping others is very important, but we need to be
fed to truly be able to do that.
Give us the grace to listen to Your church, and learn how
to be just stewards of our time and talent.
Lord, help us to see others with Your eyes, and always
with the understanding that we must be strong to help
others get strong.
Jesus, help us to come to You everyday in every way.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday GOD'S VOMITING

"When he found one really valuable pearl, he went back and put up
for sale all that he had and bought it." -Matthew 13:46
Many people don't want to put all their eggs into one basket. So
they become "Christians" but still keep one foot in the world. This
way, if Jesus isn't real, at least they haven't wasted their whole
lives for Him. However, if Jesus is the meaning of life, they're at
least church members, without losing the "fun" of the world.
This is the most common approach to Christianity in America. It
makes Jesus feel like throwing up (Rv 3:15-16). Jesus died on the
cross for us. He poured out every drop of blood and breathed His
last breath for us. As we kneel before the crucified Jesus, we
realize that it is sacrilegious to give Him anything less than
everything.
The kingdom of God is like a buried treasure or a precious pearl
(Mt 13:44-46). The cost of discipleship is everything. We may not
have much, but we each have an all - and that all is what we must
give. The first commandment is: "You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength,
and with all your mind" (Lk 10:27).
Prayer: Father, "give Your servant, therefore, an understanding
heart to judge Your people and to distinguish right from wrong"
(1 Kgs 3:9).
Promise: "We know that God makes all things work together for the
good of those who love God and are called according to His decree."
-Rm 8:28
Praise: Praise Jesus, the Good Shepherd, risen Lord, and true God!

Fear is useless. LORD please look kindly on the petitions posted
and all the requests said silently in our hearts. LORD please
forgive this sinner. I trust you will because of your unconditional
love for us. With this unconditional love come unconditional
forgiveness. Without your love and forgiveness I would be that
wheat seed with little chance of making it. LORD may I show

Today is the feast of the Parents of Mary, Saint Anne and Saint
Joachim and the Grandparents of Jesus. Let us use this day to
celebrate Traditional Marriage and pray for the intercession of not
only Saints Anne and Joachim but Saint Joseph, that They would
intercede to Jesus and ask Him to touch the hearts of all
considering marriage that they would live in accordance to the Will
of God. Saints Anne, Joachim and Joseph please intercede for us to
Mary to Jesus for us and our intentions.

Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.

WE NEED GOD'S HELP
