September 2nd 22nd Sunday in ordinary time.
Almighty God, Your plan of salvation started with the birth of the "new ark of the covenent"
Mary or mother, that the church celebrates this week.
Jesus, Your son, needed a pure vessel in which to be born into, and so You chose Mary, and she
accepted and so became the mother of Jesus.
How blessed we are to have such a woman of love who constantly intercedes for us always.
Thank You, Father, for Your perfect plan which worked out in and through Jesus, who died on
the cross that we might have life everlasting.
Thank You for loving us always.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday THE KING OF HEARTS

"Their heart is far from Me." -Mark 7:6
The human heart is:
* tortuous, twisted, deceitful (Jer 17:9),
* beyond repair (Jer 17:9),
* in a state of psychological denial about its fallen condition (see Jer 7:8-9),
* the source of good and evil (see Lk 6:45; Mk 7:21), and
* far away from God (Mk 7:6), when we have the wrong priorities (Lk 12:34).
If, by God's grace and the various "stress tests" of life, we realize that we need new hearts
(see Ez 36:26), we have nowhere to turn but to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He will give us new
hearts by giving us new life through the waters of Baptism. If our new hearts have been defiled
by our sins, Jesus will purify our hearts by forgiving us, especially in the Sacrament of
Reconciliation. Also, if our new hearts have been broken by the sins committed against us, He
will heal our hearts by giving us His power to forgive.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Sacred Heart of
Jesus, make our hearts like Yours (see Mt 11:29).
Prayer: "Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore that I may love You more and more."
Promise: "In your observance of the commandments of the Lord, your God, which I enjoin upon you,
you shall not add to what I command you nor subtract from it." -Dt 4:2
Praise: Praise You, Lord God, Creator of the cosmos. You are awesome and majestic, yet You
humbled Yourself to become one of us, to lead us to salvation. Alleluia!

I pray to our God Father for my husband Ajitabh so that he withdraw a divorce case and return to
me and our daughter. My husband suffers from depression and emotional difficulties as well as
anxiety. Holy God Father please, heal my husband's heart so that he can see how much we love him
and he much we care for him and make him free from all negative feelings and disturbances that
torment his soul. Holy God Father I pray to you and beg you reunite my family. Amen.

brothers and sisters in Christ, please intercede for me in prayer. i need the LORD's help! i
don't know what to do with my life; i don't know how to make good decisions according to the
LORD's will. i have been stuck in a pit-hole and have not been able to get out of this rut. i
feel so miserable and desperate. depression, anxiety, fear, and doubt have enslaved me for years.
i can't seem to be able to break free from this evil that has kept me from prospering and getting
ahead. i have been praying, pleading, and crying out to the LORD to help me! only He can help me.
i meditate in His word, the bible, everyday, and try to do His will. i just feel Him so far away;
as if He has abandoned me to my fate. please pray for me. thank you for your prayers. GOD bless
you all.

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 26 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.
