This week, oh! Christ, Your church celebrates "our Lady of Lourdes"
our Mother, our intercessor to You, our friend and prayer warrior.
Jesus, help us all to realize how blessed You have made us by
giving us so blessed a person who is Your Mom.
Lord, help us all to understand that all Mary wants is that her
children give all praise, and glory, to the Triune God and help
others as she helps us.
Jesus, let us say with great respect the "Hail Mary", and let us
feel the power of her prayers, and maternal love for all of us.
Thank You Jesus for Mom. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday URBAN DEVELOPER

"After sunset, as evening drew on, they brought Him all who
were ill, and those possessed by demons. Before long the
whole town was gathered outside the door." —Mark 1:32-33
Job faced reality head on and declared: "Life on earth" is
"a drudgery" (Jb 7:1). He described life as being "assigned
months of misery" (Jb 7:3). Nights are long; days are
short (Jb 7:4, 6) and, when we reach the end of them, we
are without hope (Jb 7:6).
The only Answer to the drudgery of human existence is Jesus.
Jesus is the only Hope for humanity, but the only Hope we
need. Jesus walks into the typical town filled with suffering,
sick, and even demon-possessed people. He both announces the
good news and creates it. He begins by healing a woman with a
fever, and before long He's healed many sick people and driven
out countless demons (Mk 1:31-34). It is good news when Jesus
comes to town. He turns a miserable little village into a
paradise of health, happiness, and true freedom.
In transforming the village of Simon and Andrew, Jesus began
by grasping the hand of Simon's mother-in-law. A new life and
a new town begins with someone putting a hand in Jesus' hand.
This is not just a handshake; it is expressing a total
commitment to Jesus. We let go of everything we are holding
on to for meaning and hope in life, and we hold on to Jesus,
and only Jesus, for dear life. Then the good news for
ourselves and our town begins.

and I am a single parent trying to keep him out of trouble
and on the right path. Lord please remove corrupt companions

I pray for marriages, that couples pray together more. May
God's institution of family become stronger as families turn
to each other for strength & not the things of the world.
Where 2 or more are gathered...even if it is parent & child
praying, may all marriages & families be more guided by

what is the truth about that guy- satan - can he destroy
anything? God seems to be in control of things. i am praying
about the problems i go through. it is so annoying. what

be destroyed and those that have been destroyed by the
devil the our good Lord will stretch forth His hands upon
them especially those with children involved and in His
own way reunite them. for He has said that whatever we
shall ask in His name He shall provide and what ever we
shall bind on earth in His name He will also bind in Heaven.
Brethren with this authority, join me in binding the hold
of the devil in all broken/breaking marriages...."no
