oh! Jesus, this week Your church celebrates another feast day
of our mother Mary.
Our Lady of Fatima.
Jesus, thank You for mom, and her special care for all of us.
Let us honor her with the rosary, and novenas.
Mom is always asking us to come closer to You, and so grow
in love and care for others.
Jesus, help us to always see others with Your eyes, and help
us not judge, but rather just be doers of the word.
Let us love and give, since all we have is gifts from You.
Please Christ, bring us to Your Eucharist so that we may die
to self, and come more alive in, to and through You.
Thank You for our mother Mary. Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday SHOW ME THE FRUIT

"They even refused to believe that he was a disciple." —Acts 9:26
Paul had been a notable sinner. By the grace of God, Paul
became a new convert to Christianity. Many in the Jerusalem
community couldn't believe Paul's conversion was sincere.
"They even refused to believe that he was a disciple" (Acts 9:26).
Paul was notorious for persecuting the Church. Understandably,
the Christians didn't trust Paul. They may have thought he was
pretending to be a Christian so he could later arrest them (see Acts
26:10).
Scripture cautions against too readily taking new believers
at their word. When the new generation of Israelites promised
to serve the Lord, Joshua wanted extra assurance of their
willingness to commit themselves to the Lord (Jos 24:19ff).
John the Baptizer didn't believe the Sadducees and Pharisees
as they came forward to be baptized. He challenged them to
"give some evidence that" they meant to reform (Mt 3:8).
Similarly, Paul advises the Church not to promote a new
convert too quickly, "lest he become conceited" (1 Tm 3:6).
Are you a new disciple of Jesus? If you face this situation of
not being readily accepted by the community, take Jesus'
advice. Humble yourself before God and concentrate on bearing
fruit (Jn 15:16). Accept your cross as a pruning from the Father,
your loving Vinegrower, Who always does what is best for
you (Jn 15:1-2). Bear the fruit of "patient endurance, kindness,
generosity, faith, mildness, and chastity" (Gal 5:22-23) and
"good deeds" (Eph 2:10). "Give...evidence" of your belief in
Jesus (Mt 3:8). Glorify God by bearing much fruit and being
His faithful disciple (Jn 15:8). "That should be the proof they
need" (Mt 8:4).

Satan is real. He is a fallen angel (Rv 12:7ff) bent on seducing
us, destroying us, and leading us to hell. Although we humans
are very weak and stupid compared to Satan, we have authority
over him by the power of Jesus (see Mt 10:1). In fact, Jesus
has already irreversibly defeated Satan. "The strife is o'er, the
battle done." All that remains is to place Jesus' enemies
beneath His feet (Heb 10:13).
How could we ever lose a war we've already won? The devil's
only hope is to confuse us so much that we don't know that
he exists, that a war is going on, that he is the enemy, and
that Jesus has already won. It seems impossible to convince
anyone that they've lost after they've already won. But the

Iam noticeing evil thoughts - is there someone who can pray
for me- just now i feel tremendous freeing from fear- i am
wondering what is going on- sounds to quick to judge what
but i seem to need that probably- or it is opening up my
mind- wow- humility prob. or maybe just need help- shouldn't
sit and frustrate

I request and pray to the Virgin Mary and to St. Michael
to place Your Mantle and Shield around the unborn and
protect them from satan and his conspirators who use
abortion to do satan's will. Jesus empower God's people

are all in need your miraculous healing and blessings..
Please help me pray for my brothers and sisters who are

CAREFUL LISTENING AND DISCERNMENT
What is asked of those who are called ... is careful listening and prudent
discernment, a generous and willing adherence to the divine plan, and a
serious study of the reality that is proper to the priestly and religious
vocations, so as to be able to respond responsibly and with conviction
"URGENT CALL"
The exhortation of Jesus to His disciples: "Pray therefore the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Mt 9:38) has a constant
resonance in the Church. Pray! The urgent call of the Lord stresses that
prayer for vocations should be continuous and trusting.
FAITH, HOPE AND PRAYER
The Christian community can only really "have ever greater faith and hope
in God's providence" (Sacramentum Caritatis, 26) if it is enlivened by
prayer.
