Jesus, it really doesn't matter when we celebrate Your Ascension into heaven.
What really matters is that we be extremely grateful to You for all You have done for us.
You came to be one of us and pay the price for our sins.
You absolutely deserve to rise up into heaven and sit on Your throne of glory.
Jesus, teach us to be truly grateful to You, and the Father, for loving us and for the Holy
Spirit to guide us.
Thank You Jesus.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

We have been in intense prayer for eighty days - forty days of Lent and forty days of Easter.
Today we reach the feast of the Ascension, the beginning of the grand finale of the Easter
season. Two days ago, we began a Holy Spirit novena, nine days of prayer for a new Pentecost
in our day. Our prayer will be answered as the Spirit will be lavished on us (Ti 3:6) without
ration (Jn 3:34). Then we will have the power to be Jesus' witnesses right where we are and
even to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). In the power of the Spirit, we will make disciples of
all nations by baptizing them and teaching them to obey all Jesus commanded (Mt 28:19-20).
On this feast of the Ascension, we begin the countdown to a new Pentecost. Celebrate this
feast with your whole heart. Don't just sandwich a quick Mass into the midst of a busy day.
Make this a holy day - a day especially set apart for God. Plan for the Holy Spirit novena.
Cancel or postpone whatever you can in this week before Pentecost. Give yourself more time
to give God prime time. Go into the upper room with Mary and all the saints. Wait there for the
fulfillment of our Father's promise, for "within a few days you will be baptized with the Holy
Spirit" (Acts 1:5).

I offer to God my prayer of thanks and to each of you who have prayed for my friends
husband about his job. They were excited after Mass today to tell me that he has a job
that came available this week and closer to their home. They requested that I say thanks
to all of you in our prayer room also. God is Great! God is Good! All Glory to God! Thank
You Jesus! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus!

My husband is currently going through a TON of stress at work and is concerned about
the security of his job. He has been with this company for 15 years and has done a
Fantastic time of moving up the cooperate ladder fast. Right now, there are a lot of fires
for him to put out and he is struggling!!! Please pray that the bosses see how hard he has
been working to do his best!! Pray that his employees do their jobs and that they step up
to get to where they need to be!!! Please pray for his stress level!! He is on meds for High
Blood pressure and it is still HIGH:(. I love my husband and hate seeing him this way. Pray
that everyone is guided and that he is protected from job loss. Pray for him to recieve
strength and to protect him. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

tornados and storms around the US, for the loss of life and property. We include all the
organizations that are always on the front line of these disasters helping those in need.

New Technology for Bible Telephone Line Ministry
Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
