This week, oh! Christ, Your church celebrates the feast of "Our Lady of Lourdes".
The power of the miracles that are coming from this holy place should be astounding the world,
and yet we hardly ever even talk about Your presense there at Lourdes.
Mary, through You, as always is constanly helping her children.
She, as always, is calling us to a greater trust and faith in You.
Jesus, thank You for mom and thank You for Your never ending love.
Jesus, keep giving us Your miracles.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday LIFE-LINES

"Is not man's life on earth a drudgery?" -Job 7:1
Most people can relate to Job, for they have endured tragedies, deaths in their families,
sicknesses, pain, and sufferings. Even those who have so far had easier lives know that life
can be, and almost inevitably will be, hard. We all have the question of Job: "Is not man's
life on earth a drudgery?" We feel as if we "have been assigned months of misery" (Jb 7:3).
Our days and nights drag on ever so slowly (Jb 7:4), while at the same time life passes all
too quickly (Jb 7:6-7).
We cannot change the drudgery and slavery of our human condition. For example, Paul tried for
years to rise above our human condition; finally, he was forced to cry out in desperation:
"What a wretched man I am! Who can free me from this body under the power of death?"
(Rm 7:24) Unlike Job, Paul amazingly received an answer to this previously unanswerable
question. The answer was: "Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rm 7:25).
Only Jesus can make life worth living. He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Jn 14:6).
He is "our only Master and Lord" (Jude 4). "There is no salvation in anyone else, for there
is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Lord please help me overcome what I see as disrespect from a friend regarding a promise for help.
Regardless of what's going on or his reason, you alone know all and what's best for me to bring
honor and glory to your name. Help me to stay at peace regardless of the problems. When I am
humbled you will lift me up. I bow to hear your answer what ever it maybe, you're always right.
Remove any sting of rejection from my spirit so it doesn't trap me in pain. I desire peace of

We are new immigrants to Canada and are finding life difficult out here. Please pray that my
husband gets a job soon to support our family.Also, please pray for our neighbours. I have
two toddlers aged 3years and 18 months respectively. They have complained to our apartment
supervisor about the noise our toddlers make in our apartment. If there is an eviction notice,
the costs incurred for moving on to a new apartment would be hard to bear at this point of time.

New Technology for Bible Telephone Line Ministry
Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
