July 8th 14th Sunday in ordinary time.
Jesus, even though the church calls this time of the year, ordinary, in, to, and through You,
nothing is ordinary.
It is amazing that You, who are God, love us with a love that is impossible to comprehend.
We are so blessed to be called children of God, for that is what we really are.
Jesus, thank You for continuing to intercede for us to the Father.
And thank You Father, for all the graces You give us.
Help us to try to love more with the kind of love that is truly Christ like.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday HOMETOWN FOLK

"No prophet is without honor except in his native place, among his own kindred, and in his
own house." -Mark 6:4
At the beginning of His public ministry, the people of Jesus' hometown of Nazareth attempted
to murder Him by trying to throw Him over a cliff (Lk 4:29-30). Later, some of Jesus'
relatives, probably from His hometown, "came to take charge of Him, saying, 'He is out of His
mind' " (Mk 3:21). This may have been more traumatic than the attempt on His life.
Nevertheless, Jesus went back to His hometown and taught "in the synagogue in a way that kept
His large audience amazed" (Mk 6:2). However, "He could work no miracle there, apart from
curing a few who were sick by laying hands on them, so much did their lack of faith distress
Him" (Mk 6:5-6).
Jesus reaches out in love, forgiveness, and mercy to those who hate, attack, reject, dishonor,
and distress Him. Sometimes these people even repent. As did some of Jesus' relatives, go
into the upper room and receive a new Pentecost (Acts 1:14).
If you have rejected Jesus, there is hope for you no matter what you have done - if you only
repent. If you have been rejected with Jesus, there is hope, for the Lord is changing the
hardest hearts.
Prayer: Father, may I see more and greater conversions than ever before.
Promise: "My grace is enough for you." -2 Cor 12:9
Praise: Praise Jesus risen! Praise Jesus glorified! Praise Jesus enthroned! Be exalted, Jesus,
above the heavens.

we are in a spiritual warfar but some family members do not realize this. I ask for prayers
for my husband and I. We are at the brink of filing for bankruptcy. I ask that the Holy Spirit
descend onto us and that Christ Jesus lead us into less materialism and more into the Holy
Trinity. I also ask for prayers for our country's leaders and that their decisions result with

Monica suffers from deppression and has problems with anger she also has breast cancer had
surgery 3 years ago but the cancer has shown up in other parts of her body they cannot do
surgery as she had aggressive treatment the first time because the cancer was growing so fast
the treatment has affected her heart so she cannot have general anesthetic they are now trying
to shrink it with drugs.

URGENT! Please pray that we may get enough funds to put a closing on a much needed school
building before they put it back on the market again. Please ask the Infant of Prague to obtain
for us this school building so we may teach the little children the true Faith and give them a

Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
