December 2nd The first Sunday of Advent
Here we are again, Jesus, into Christmas.
Please Lord, let this truly be a holy period, for us to prepare,
to herald Your birth.
Let us not get so wrapped up into presents, that we forget to
give You, the present of our love.
Let us see that in this amazing birth our eternal life factor was
now in play.
You came to give us all eternal life and You came to make
reparation for all of the sins that was ever or will be committed.
Let us be set on fire with love for You and the love You showed us.
Let us see You in others and be Christ to them, so that someday
we all may shine in heaven with You.
Amen and Amen.
Thanks to You, Lord, for loving us totally.

"The days are coming..." -Jeremiah 33:14
A new Church year begins with the season of Advent. How can we start this Church
year off on the right foot?
Human ventures begin with human efforts and plans. The Church, however, is led by
Jesus, the Head of the Church (Col 1:18), and so the Church is both human and
divine (Catechism, 779). Therefore, God initiates and we follow Him.
Here are some keys to the success of this Church year:
Will we vigilantly and patiently listen to the Lord each day for His
"instructions"? (1 Thes 4:2)
Will we receive God's plans in a spirit of docility and joyful submission?
Will we cooperate with God's plans or block them through our resistance or by
moving ahead without Him?
Will we "learn to make still greater progress" in living for Jesus? (1 Thes 4:1)
Will we "conduct [ourselves] in a way pleasing to God"? (1 Thes 4:1)
Will we "be on guard lest [our] spirits become bloated with indulgence and
drunkenness and worldly cares"? (Lk 21:34)
Will we be "blameless and holy"? (1 Thes 3:13)
The Lord's plans for the Church and for us are far "more than we ask or imagine"
(Eph 3:20). His "will be done" (Mt 6:10).
Prayer: Father, give us "the strength to escape whatever is in prospect" (Lk 21:36).
Promise: "The friendship of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and His
covenant, for their instruction." -Ps 25:14
Praise: Alleluia! Jesus is risen! Jesus will come again! Come, Lord Jesus!

Jesus, Lord Jesus, please make it so that there is an early afternoon Christmas Penance
service so I can get there.Lord Jesus let there always be a priest available that I can
go to confession Jesus, find a fit for me and never let me break the 6th commandment.
Lord Jesus, increase vocations to the priesthood/ religious life and protect them all
from those who would take them away from You Lord Jesus, help FPV and keep him in Your
service. Help me Lord Jesus; I need Your help also. Help Pope Benedict in the struggles
he is facing and will have to face. Help me always to be meek and humble.Increase Help
me grow in perfection, virtues, and holiness. Let me always have money to help fund
seminarians and to help others. Remember me when You come into Your kingdom.

love and live according to God's will. Please help us to forgive one another and believe
that we are forgiven for our transgressions when we confess our sins. Please help all of
us to desire to go to confession. Please pray for me to recover from cancer, if it is
God's will. Please pray for peace of my heart, mind and soul. Please pray for gainful
employment and the protection of the Holy Family for those who are unemployed.

Lord I am asking Prayers for all the innocent peope In Juarez Mexico alot of people are
suffering because of cartel it really is a big war zone. The innocent people need peace.

New Technology for Bible Telephone Line Ministry
Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
