October 6th 27th Sunday in ordinary time.
Jesus, in giving us Mary as our mother, You also gave us
through her, a mighty source of power, the rosary.
Please, Jesus, give us the grace, as we celebrate the
feast of the "Our Lady of the Rosary" this week, the real
desire to glorify You by meditating on the mysteries of
life and love.
The joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous rosaries
give us Your life and the most outstanding moments of
Your actions, that get us all to the eternal life that
was established permanently by Your death.
Help us all to say a rosary a day for all of our family
members and for peace in our homes and the world.
Amen and Amen.
Thanks to You, Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday CLOSING THE YEAR OF FAITH

"If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this sycamore, 'Be
uprooted and transplanted into the sea,' and it would obey you." -Luke 17:6
The Year of Faith announced by Pope Benedict XVI last year is coming to an end late next
month. In today's Gospel reading, the Church brings up the subject of faith. When the
apostles ask Jesus to increase their faith, He responds that if they had the tiniest
amount of faith, they could command a tree to be transplanted into the sea (Lk 17:5-6).
Elsewhere in Scripture, Jesus used a similar incredible scenario involving water to
build Peter's faith: He told Peter to go down to the lake, cast a line, and in the mouth
of the first fish caught would be two coins (Mt 17:27). Peter the fisherman spent his
life by the water; Jesus used the familiar to challenge and increase Peter's faith.
As this Year of Faith comes to a close, the Lord may use a very familiar aspect of your
life to challenge and increase your faith. With Peter, the Lord used the sea. What will
He use for you? Is any area in your life so familiar that you can't comprehend God
working there? It might be your spouse, siblings, children, boss, parish, government,
school, etc. You know this area so well that you consider change impossible. Most
likely, the Lord will challenge your faith by giving you commands in this area, for He
wants you to have faith that He can do anything at any time. "Nothing is more apt to
confirm our faith and hope than holding it fixed in our minds that nothing is impossible
with God" (Catechism, 274).
Prayer: Lord, "increase our faith" (Lk 17:5). Open our eyes to Your omnipotence.
Promise: "The Spirit God has given us is no cowardly spirit, but rather One That makes
us strong, loving, and wise." -2 Tm 1:7
Praise: Praise Jesus, "the Resurrection and the Life!" (Jn 11:25) "Praised be the Lord,
I exclaim" (Ps 18:4). Alleluia!

her . All you lying spirits, Spirits of homosexuality, spirits of anger and
disobedience, spirits of lust I command you to leave Sara in Jesus name. Lord God
break the chains that bind her and cover her with your precious blood. Grant her
forgiveness for her sins and baptize her in your Holy Spirit. Set her free Lord from

One pair of hands healed the cripple, gave hearing to the deaf, gave sight to the
blind, casted out demons, raised the dead, Instituted Eucharist ( so we would have
the physical presence of God), and were then pierced and nailed to a Cross, to save
our souls. Jesus's hands were opened in generosity, because His heart was opened to
us, out of His great love, for us. God made Himself a "Gift" to us. Now what are we
going to do with this "Gift". So, now ask the Holy Spirit, how to move forward with
this knowledge of God, by becoming a "gift" for God, through sainthood.,,,,Do we
believe at the core of our being, Jesus is The Lord and He has the power to heal and
forgive us. And, He is leading us step by step as we follow Him,,,,,, Now, let us
move forward in faith and hope and charity, for we are the children of God

Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
