January 26th Third Sunday in ordinary time
Jesus, because of You we are really far from ordinary.
We are loved with a love that is almost impossible to comprehend.
We are really one of a kind masterpiece's of Your love, and we are
really special.
All people are really special, even if they don't know it.
Your death on the cross gave us everlasting salvation and a dignity
that knows no bounds.
Thank You Jesus, for all You do for us, and thank You Jesus, for
Your unconditional love.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

One Bread, One Body

Sunday "THE LORD IS MY LIGHT" (Ps 27:1)

"A people living in darkness has seen a great light." -Matthew 4:16
Jesus, in His merciful love, can't bear the thought of a world in darkness. He declares:
"I have come to the world as its Light, to keep anyone who believes in Me from remaining in
the dark" (Jn 12:46). Yet some prefer the darkness and hate the light (Jn 3:19-21). There
is no bushel basket (Mt 5:15) or wall thick enough to block out the Light of the World. So
the people who hated the Light tried to extinguish the Light. For three days, they were
successful, and the Light was buried in a tomb. However, Jesus is risen from the dead! "The
light shines on in darkness, a darkness that did not overcome it" (Jn 1:5). Now Jesus the
Light shines through us, His disciples (see Mt 5:14).
The people in darkness have seen a great light (Mt 4:16; Is 9:1). Many are attracted to the
light, and stream toward it (see Is 2:2). Others prefer the deeds and lifestyle of darkness
and will continue to attempt to extinguish the light, as if that were possible. Since we are
now Jesus' lamps in the world, we must expect that His opponents will attempt to extinguish
us in their futile attempts to darken the world. Eventually the only option for those who
love darkness is to flee the light and find a place of permanent darkness. Some will detest
the light so much they will beg the mountains and hills to cover them (see Hos 10:8; Lk 23:30;
Rv 6:16). Repent of the futility of preferring darkness and opposing the light. Come to the
Light, and join the victorious side (Jn 1:5).
Prayer: Father, I repent of anything that I am hiding from You. Shine Your light on any
darkness in my life.
Promise: "Come after Me and I will make you fishers of men." -Mt 4:19
Praise: Praise Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life! (Jn 11:25) "He is the blessed and only
Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords Who alone has immortality" (1 Tm 6:15-16).

Lord, Never in my life have I felt so completely and utterly alone. I am a grieving mother.
You know the truth that SB was not the driver in the accident that took her life 2 1/2 years
ago. The driver and the 2 witnesses have never gone to law enforcement with the truth. I am
asking that Your Holy Will be done, and that SB has justice in this life or the next. And I
ask that I be given the grace to accept it. Most of all, please forgive SB for any 16-year
old girl mistakes she may have made and take her into Heaven with you, if she is not already
there. Thank you, Lord.

Jesus you are the only one who can make this right. Our now deceased son's baby was born 2
days after his death. Baby Mama had her sterile boyfriend sign the birth certificate. This
man is an IV heroin user, was arrested along with the baby mama this month. She has court
1/27/14 & originally called about us taking the 2 month old while she attended rehab or jail.
We confronted about the drug usage. She has a mentally unstable cps worker who sides with
her (must be an addict herself).We want only the best for our grandson and want to remain in
contact with him.The so-called father 'in name only' does not want us to see the baby or
visit. Please make this mother get the treatment she needs or long jailtime.In a perfect
world we would gain custody but in your time and your will be done.

Heavenly father thank you for all the Blessings, please guide us with your Holy spirit as we
start the day Lord help all who are now on their training and help my son to have their job
touch the heart oft contractor as they handle their co employee to do their job honest as
well in giving the salary .we ask this through Christ our Lord.Amen

The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
