March 2nd 8th Sunday in ordinary time
Jesus, as we receive ashes this Wednesday, let it truly remind us
that we are born into this life as a pilgrim on a journey to get
us into true life, eternal life, with You.
Lord, let us see in the ashes, our reminder to life in, to and
through, You, in everything.
Let us see that we were baptized into kinship with You, and that
someday, we will enter that heavenly kingdom, where we will rejoice
and praise the triune God forever.
Jesus, let us never fear death, but see it as a natural progression
to get us into Your eternal presence.
Let us prepare for our home coming this Lent.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday SOCIAL INSECURITY

"Your heavenly Father knows all that you need. Seek first His kingship over you, His way of
holiness, and all these things will be given you besides." -Matthew 6:32-33
Are you secure in God's love? Are you sure that, even if a mother forgets her infant, the
Lord would never forget you? (Is 49:15) If you lost your job, would you worry? If you
didn't know where your next meal was coming from, would you be upset? Do you believe that
your heavenly Father is a real Father Who provides for His family? Do you feel so insured
by being a child of God that having man's insurance would be superfluous or even a means of
doubting God's providence?
We can't serve two masters; we should not worry but trust God for our basic needs (Mt 6:24).
Many of today's Christians have placed themselves in the most insecure situation possible,
that is, depending on themselves for security.
Prayer: Jesus, may I lose my life so You can save me (Lk 9:24).
Promise: "The Lord is the One to judge me, so stop passing judgment before the time of His
return." -1 Cor 4:4-5
Praise: Praise You, Jesus! Your dependence on the Father set us free to abandon ourselves to
His care. Thank You, Father!

be turn out well-- I am need of a job. I am praying to you my worries/needs/finances. I pray
that my purchased orders from China and US will arrive shortly and safely to my home. I pray
to you the total healing of my broken marriage; that my husband will be more responsible
father and honor me as his wife. I pray that my daughter and my family will always be
healthy and strong. Lord God, kindly uplift me especially when I am depressed. And please

Please pray that Peter whose wife is pregnant, and having a hard time will not leave her at
the time she needs him most with their 5year old to travel overseas. That the Holy Spirit
will empower him to seek God's view, and not be easily influenced by people, especially those
who give him false, and negative visions. Pray for the protection of my family, especially my
son from internal, and external battles.

Dear prayer warriors, Greetings to you in JESUS name I request you to please pray for my
mother MRS.KRISHNAWATI SINGH JAMES. Who is in the Railway hospital Delhi India for the past
four months? Doctors gave up but through prayers of the prayer warrior she came out of the
danger zone. Still she is in tracheostomy, for the suction of the phlegm in her lungs which
keeps coming. And badly infection in her lungs. Please pray that this may be removed and
she is able to breathe on her own lungs without any artificial oxygen. JESUS HEAL HER AND

New Technology for Bible Telephone Line Ministry
Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
