(NOTE: Many of you already received this letter by mail. Thank you for your generous response.) December, 2015 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Praise Jesus, the King of Kings! First and foremost we wish to express our gratitude for all of you who responded so quickly to our critical need of funds during August through October. Your generosity kept us afloat! Your fidelity in responding to our Special Appeal last year and throughout the following months has enabled us to continue our mission and vision. Your sacrificial donations, both large and small, have allowed us to make One Bread, One Body and other materials widely available in North America and globally via the Internet. Our many ministries flourish in the power of the Holy Spirit as we take the good news of the gospel in all directions. We are amazed at the Lord's faithfulness in the many ways that He uses our teachings to bring new life and transform hearts. We continue to focus on God's word through radio broadcasts and the Bible telephone line. We strive to preserve Father Al Lauer's teachings at our own website and in updated venues, such as YouTube. The annual Bible Institute was powerfully anointed by the Holy Spirit. The speakers, the teachers, the participants, and all who served were astonished at the way that the Holy Spirit exceeded all expectations. Please pray that the Institute ministry can continue in the good work even though the donations received did not meet our expenses this year. In the past we spoke of our need to finish the building project for the discipleship retreat center located in Adams County. Presentation Ministries was blessed with a major donation that enabled us to complete the center. We are pleased that Archbishop Schnurr of Cincinnati joined us to formally dedicate our chapel on June 6th. Going forward, we now have lovely facilities in which to hold our retreats. What we used to call the Paul Jansen Discipleship Retreat Center is now renamed the Our Lady of Guadalupe Discipleship Center. Our Outreach Ministry has been receiving increased requests for our teachings, expanding to other cities and dioceses. The demand for the Spanish translation of the One Bread, One Body continues to grow. All those serving Presentation Ministries as teachers, editors, office personnel, mailing crews, and those who maintain the buildings – whether they give a few hours or work full time – are VOLUNTEERS. No one is paid. We retain the policy of providing our materials and resources, even the retreats and Bible Institute, for a free-will offering. Every effort is made to control expenses. However, the cost of postage and shipping is always increasing as are the many expenses to maintain our buildings. Please continue your prayers for this ministry. We have seen the way the Lord answers your requests. Pray in particular for unity in executing the vision. Pray for uninterrupted leadership for each of the ministries. Pray for a wave of new committed workers. Your offering is deeply appreciated and enables us to continue our charism of serving all regardless of their financial situation. May the Lord bless you and all your loved ones in the holy seasons of Advent and Christmas!
