“HIS GREAT MERCY” (1 Pt 1:3)
“...Who in His great mercy gave us new birth; a birth unto hope which draws its life from the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…” —1 Peter 1:3

Three times Jesus said to His apostles, “Peace be with you” (Jn 20:19, 21, 26). This literally means “shalom,” a peace which is complete and harmonious. Jesus forgave the sins of the apostles and poured out divine mercy upon them.

“God is rich in mercy” (Eph 2:4). He gives so many chances to us who are slow to grasp and believe in His mercy. He wants very much to have us believe in His merciful love, in His unlimited compassion. “His mercy endures forever” (Ps 118:1).

St. Thomas the Apostle came to belief because he encountered Divine Mercy Incarnate, Jesus, his Lord and his God (Jn 20:28). Some day we will come face to face with Mercy Incarnate (1 Cor 13:12). Will this encounter be on the Day of Judgment? Hopefully that’s not the first time you meet Divine Mercy.

Now is the time (see 2 Cor 6:2). Now is the season of mercy. Jesus of Mercy is constantly trying to tell you: “Peace be with you, mercy be with you.” Do not doubt His mercy. Receive His mercy. Do the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, and live a life of complete trust in the mercy of God.

Prayer: “My Lord and my God!” (Jn 20:28)

Promise: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ instruction and the communal life, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” —Acts 2:42

Praise: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever” (Ps 118:1).

NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES (Phil 2:9)
“We must give them a stern warning never to mention that Man’s name to anyone again.” —Acts 4:17

I’m attending Mass in a Church called Holy Name. This church building has a mosaic behind the altar which proclaims:

  • “Ask in My Name,”
  • “Holy is His Name,”
  • “And thou shalt call His Name Jesus.”

A Church dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus is a fitting place in which to hear today’s readings, which continue the story from yesterday’s readings that “there is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved” (Acts 4:12). “In the power of that name this [man born lame] stands before you perfectly sound” (Acts 4:10).

There is more power in the Name of Jesus than in all the forces of evil combined (see e.g. Lk 10:17). Therefore, have confidence in the Name of Jesus. He promised: “Whatever You ask the Father, He will give you in My name” (Jn 16:23). The archangel Gabriel told St. Joseph to name Mary’s Child Jesus, a name which means “God saves” (see Mt 1:21). Therefore, even  His name indicates Jesus’ power to save.

“Whatever you do, whether in speech or in action, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Col 3:17). May His Name be constantly in your heart and be constantly on your lips.

Prayer: Jesus, “Your name spoken is a spreading perfume” (Sg 1:3). May we always speak Your Holy Name in love, devotion, reverence, faith, and power.

Promise: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the good news to all creation.” —Mk 16:15

Praise: “God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name above every other name, so that at Jesus’ name every knee must bend in the heavens, on the earth, and under the earth, and every tongue proclaim to the glory of God the Father: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!” (Phil 2:9-11)

STARTING OVER?
“I am going out to fish.” —John 21:3

Jesus told St. Peter to leave the fishing business and follow Him (Mt 4:19). Even after meeting the risen Christ several times, Peter denied Christ again and went back into the fishing business. Peter denied Jesus, the Light, and chose the night. “All through the night they caught nothing” (Jn 21:3). Peter was naked (Jn 21:7, NAB) and not clothed with power (Lk 24:49), righteousness (see Eph 6:14), or life in Christ (Eph 4:24). Peter chose night, nothing, and nakedness.

Jesus, in all His mercy, forgave Peter another three times and proceeded to again start from the beginning with him. Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him (Jn 21:15-17). Then Jesus did what He had done when He first met Peter: He commanded Peter to follow Him (Jn 21:19). Shortly after this, Peter led three thousand people to be baptized into Jesus at the first Christian Pentecost (Acts 2:41). Peter became the first leader of the Church and a fearless witness for Jesus (see Acts 4:8ff).

Have you squandered your Christian life? Have you lost your first love? (Rv 2:4) Have you forced Jesus to start over with you? If you repent, there is hope. Even if you’re starting over, the risen Lord can make you a great leader in His kingdom. Repent!

Prayer: Lord, have mercy on me again.

Promise: “This Jesus is ‘the Stone rejected by you the builders Which has become the Cornerstone.’ There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved.” —Acts 4:11-12

Praise: Praise You, Jesus, risen Victor over death. You have conquered sin and death and set us free. You are the “Savior of the world” (1 Jn 4:14). Alleluia!

New Industry Guidelines Detail How to Buy Fabric Online Without Seeing It First

To buy fabric online without seeing it first, buyers must mathematically translate digital specifications like Grams per Square Meter and stretch percentages while enforcing strict physical wash protocols on sample swatches. Leading U.S. textile suppliers reported a 42% decrease in wholesale returns during fiscal 2025 when commercial buyers abandoned subjective texture descriptions in favor of hard data. Digital sourcing removes the physical hand from the evaluation process. The hand defines the tactile feel of the material. You risk severe manufacturing delays if you rely on flat lay photography alone. Source: Linkedin

Buyers determine accurate material density by reading the GSM data rather than trusting generic vendor adjectives. GSM measures exact physical weave density. A 150 GSM textile material performs well for lightweight apparel, whereas a 400 GSM material provides the rigidity needed for commercial outerwear. Digital sourcing requires buyers to locate visual proxies to evaluate drape. Drape defines the hanging behavior of a textile. Buyers assess this fluidity by demanding rosette photographs. A rosette photograph displays the material twisted into a spiral. You misjudge the flexibility of the warp and weft if you only review flat images.

Buyers verify pattern compatibility by extracting the stated stretch percentage and replicating that ratio against a physical ruler using known knit textiles. Spandex fibers dictate the modulus of elasticity. A 4-inch sample possesses a 50% stretch capacity if it extends to 6 inches comfortably. Professionals mitigate remaining physical risks by executing rigorous swatch tests. A swatch test exposes the raw sample to American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists wash standards. You quantify shrinkage accurately if you launder a precise 4-inch square sample at maximum industrial heat settings.

Safe digital textile sourcing requires strict adherence to standardized numerical metrics over subjective visual estimations. U.S. industry data proves that quantitative analysis eliminates the traditional barriers of remote purchasing. Buyers secure exact materials for bulk production runs if they follow these technical translation methods. Start your next commercial manufacturing run securely by immediately requesting a baseline test sample from your chosen digital supplier today.

NEW, RISEN LIFE
“Touch Me.” —Luke 24:39

“Touch Me,” Jesus said to the apostles (Lk 24:39). “Do not touch Me,” Jesus said to Mary Magdalene (see Jn 20:17). These statements are not conflicting. Jesus knows what each person needs. St. Mary Magdalene wanted her relationship with Jesus to continue as it had always been. Mary needed a new relationship with Jesus, for He was now risen. Pre-risen touching no longer would work with a risen Lord. The apostles were ashamed of abandoning Jesus (Mk 14:50). Jesus wanted to restore them to their former status as His beloved apostles, to send them out with assurance and Resurrection-power. Their relationship with Jesus needed a new, risen touch (see 1 Jn 1:1).

Can we receive Jesus’ risen peace when we rely on the things of this world, that is, mammon? Jesus taught that we cannot have two masters, God and mammon (Mt 6:24). The Resurrection of Jesus brings a power not of this world. We are now to rely on “things above” (Col 3:2) rather than on things of earth. Resurrection-power and risen life are incompatible with reliance on earthly lifestyles (see Mt 9:16-17).

Jesus knows exactly what you need at every moment. What would He tell you now? Would you be ready to hear and obey Him? Does your love of money smother the power of God? Could you be moving in the power of the Spirit if you renounced the things of this world? (see Lk 14:33) Unplug from dependence on worldly means. Plug into Resurrection-power, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, open my mind “to the understanding of the Scriptures” and of risen life (Lk 24:45).

Promise: “You put to death the Author of life. But God raised Him from the dead, and we are His witnesses.” —Acts 3:15

Praise: “O Lord, our Lord, how glorious is Your name over all the earth!” (Ps 8:2)

HOW TO RECOGNIZE JESUS
“They had come to know Him in the breaking of bread.” —Luke 24:35

Reading the daily Mass Scriptures during the season of Lent is in essence an Emmaus walk with Jesus. During Lent, the Church breaks open many of the Scriptures which refer to the Messiah, and how He had to suffer (see Lk 24:25-27). Wouldn’t it have been a joy to have walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus? Though we long for our hearts to burn alongside the first disciples as Jesus opened the Old Testament Scriptures which referred to Him (Lk 24:27, 32), we have the same opportunity today. The Church proclaims to us many of those very Scriptures during the Masses of Lent and Holy Week.

The first disciples were likely familiar with some of those Scriptures. Much more familiar with these Scriptures were the chief priests, elders, and scribes, but they did not recognize Jesus (see Jn 1:26), just as the two disciples in today’s Gospel did not recognize Him (Lk 24:16). Their eyes were not opened until the breaking of the bread, the Eucharist (Lk 24:30-31).

During the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Lord breaks open the Scriptures for us in the Liturgy of the Word and then breaks the bread in the Liturgy of the Eucharist. This opens our eyes to recognize Him (Lk 24:35). To really gain an understanding of the Scriptures, come to Mass as often as possible, even daily. Recognize Jesus (Lk 24:31).

Prayer: Father, “I wish to know Christ” (Phil 3:10). Give me a supernatural hunger for the Eucharist, so I will come to know Jesus as the first Christians did (Lk 24:35).

Promise: “He remembers forever His covenant which He made binding for a thousand generations.” —Ps 105:8

Praise: “Give thanks to the Lord, invoke His name…sing to Him, sing His praise” (Ps 105:1-2).

HOW TO MEET THE RISEN JESUS
“ ‘I have seen the Lord!’ she announced.” —John 20:18

To meet the risen Christ and have a true Easter, we must be baptized in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38). This not only means that we must receive the Sacrament of Baptism; it also means that we must live our Baptisms by being immersed into the person of Jesus. Like St. Mary Magdalene, we should be so preoccupied with and focused on Jesus that we hardly notice “two angels in dazzling robes” (Jn 20:12). As St. Patrick prayed, we are to be very conscious of Jesus within us and around us, above and below us, to our right and to our left, etc. We who are baptized into Jesus must say with St. Paul that to us, “ ‘life’ means Christ” (Phil 1:21). As the deer “longs for the running waters” (Ps 42:2), we should seek, pine for, and thirst for Jesus (Ps 63:2).

How can we be so immersed in Jesus? We must reform and have our sins forgiven (Acts 2:38). Then we will have a new Pentecost. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we will meet the risen Christ and be His witnesses. Baptism is the key to Easter. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to live our Baptisms. Repentance, expressed in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, opens us to the Spirit. Thus, on the first Resurrection night, Jesus gave His apostles both the Spirit and the authority to forgive sins in His name (Jn 20:22-23). Start the fifty-day season of Easter with Confession, leading to a new Pentecost and a renewal of your Baptism. Then you will meet the risen Jesus.

Prayer: Father, make me preoccupied with Jesus, like Mary Magdalene on Resurrection day.

Promise: “See, the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear Him, upon those who hope for His kindness, to deliver them from death and preserve them in spite of famine.” —Ps 33:18-19

Praise: Alleluia! “This is the day the Lord has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it” (Ps 118:24). Jesus is risen! Alleluia!

GET REAL
"The soldiers pocketed the money and did as they had been instructed." —Matthew 28:15

The soldiers assigned to guard Jesus’ tomb had just endured a powerful earthquake (Mt 28:2). Simultaneously, they saw an angel, who looked like a dazzlingly dressed bolt of lightning, roll the stone back from Jesus’ tomb and sit on the stone (Mt 28:2-3). Have you ever seen lightning up close? Have you ever seen it sit? Have you ever seen it dressed? Under the circumstances, “the guards grew paralyzed with fear of [the angel] and fell down like dead men” (Mt 28:4). When the soldiers came to, some of them “went into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened” (Mt 28:11). Then they took a large bribe and promised to lie about Jesus’ Resurrection (Mt 28:12ff).

How can a person go through the most astounding supernatural experiences and not turn to God? The Lord warned us that if we “do not listen to Moses and the prophets, [we] will not be convinced even if one should rise from the dead” (Lk 16:31). The human person is so narcissistic and absorbed with self that we tend to deny reality. We can think everything is made for us alone and the world is merely a self-projection of our desires. Even the reality of the risen Christ does not free us from our egotistic flight from reality.

However, when the risen Christ interprets for us the Scriptures (Lk 24:27) and opens our minds to understand His Word (Lk 24:45), our hearts begin to burn (Lk 24:32). With the breaking of the bread, our eyes are opened (Lk 24:31). With the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we are miraculously freed from the spell of self and enter into reality — life in the risen Christ.

Prayer: Father, raise me from the death of self and sin.

Promise: "God freed Him from death's bitter pangs, however, and raised Him up again, for it was impossible that death should keep its hold on Him." —Acts 2:24

Praise: Alleluia! He is risen! Praise Jesus, "the Resurrection and the Life"! (Jn 11:25) Alleluia!

FRESH BREAD
"Get rid of the old yeast to make of yourselves fresh dough, unleavened loaves, as it were; Christ our Passover has been sacrificed." —1 Corinthians 5:7

Alleluia! Jesus has risen! He’s alive! Alleluia!

For many Christians, the Good News of Jesus’ Resurrection from the dead isn’t “news” anymore. It’s old. They’ve heard it (or not heard it) for years. Instead of being evangelized to Christianity, they have been immunized to it. They mistakenly think that the lukewarm version of Easter they’ve received is all there is to the Good News.

We must get rid of the old yeast of sin. We must repent of compromising with the values of the world and of thereby letting the risen Christ be upstaged by NCAA basketball, major league baseball, spring break, chocolate Easter bunnies, or even marshmallow chicks. We must proclaim Jesus’ Resurrection with power by making major financial moves and lifestyle changes — all because of the risen Christ (see Acts 4:33-35).

Jesus died and was buried because of our sins. Unless we break out of the tomb of sin, we will not be witnesses for the risen Christ but anti-witnesses. We will conceal the risen Lord rather than reveal Him. Therefore, we must ask for the forgiveness of our sins through His name (Acts 10:43). On the first Easter Sunday evening, Jesus offered us forgiveness (Jn 20:23). We must repent if we are to be credible witnesses for the risen Jesus.

Prayer: Father, on this first day of Easter, I renew my baptismal promises; I give my life to You.

Promise: "Since you have been raised up in company with Christ, set your heart on what pertains to higher realms where Christ is seated at God's right hand." —Col 3:1

Praise: Praise Jesus! He is risen! The tomb is empty! Alleluia!

EMPTINESS + ANTICIPATION = ?
"You changed my mourning into dancing; You took off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my soul might sing praise to You without ceasing; O Lord, my God, forever will I give You thanks." —Psalm 30:12-13

During the day on Holy Saturday, there is no Mass and Communion. We feel empty — very empty. We feel as if we are buried with Christ (see Rm 6:4; Col 2:12).

However, Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb, and Holy Saturday only lasts until sunset. It gives way to the greatest liturgical celebration of the year — Easter Vigil. Therefore, Holy Saturday is a day of great anticipation.

Anticipation makes our emptiness seem not as empty. Just to know that there is resurrection from the dead gives hope to the most buried life. Risen life is about to break through even the most cold, barren, and dead ground. “The earth quaked, boulders split, tombs opened. Many bodies of saints who had fallen asleep were raised” (Mt 27:52-53). Get ready to explode with faith, love, and joy.

How Brand Mentions and Citations Improve SEO

Brand citations for SEO grow when your site defines the brand clearly, your content gives publishers something worth referencing, and your outreach targets pages that already cover your category. That is the practical answer. A brand citation helps when it places your name next to the right topic on a trusted page with useful context. A weak mention on an unrelated page adds little. A strong mention on a relevant page can strengthen category association, branded search demand, and referral trust.

Start on your own site. Your home page should state what the brand does, who it helps, and which service or product category it belongs to. Your About page should confirm the same position. Your author pages should connect real expertise to the brand. Your internal links should point readers and search engines to the pages that explain your main offers. Google says structured data gives explicit clues about a page, so accurate Organization markup also helps clarify the brand entity.

Next, publish one asset that deserves citations. The best pages for this job answer one clear question fast, use strong headings, and include a source, an expert, or an original point of view. Research pages, benchmark pages, comparison pages, and narrow how-to pages attract more mentions than generic blog posts because writers can quote them, link to them, or use them as a reference.

Then move off page. Pitch editors, newsletter writers, podcasters, and community leaders who already discuss your topic. Offer one useful angle, not a broad request for attention. A short quote, a small data point, or a clear framework works better than a generic sales message. Review unlinked mentions too. When a page already names your brand, a source link often becomes an easy editorial update if the link helps the reader.

Measure quality, not just volume. Track which pages mention the brand, which topics they connect to it, whether the mention is linked, and whether branded queries grow after those citations appear. More citations alone do not win. Better citations do.

That is how you increase brand citations for SEO with clarity, relevance, authority, and repeatable execution.

"BEHOLD, THE MAN!" (Jn 19:5, RNAB)
"There was in Him no stately bearing to make us look at Him." —Isaiah 53:2

“When I behold the wondrous cross on which the Prince of glory died, my richest gain I count but loss and pour contempt on all my pride.”

When I behold the One Whom I have pierced, I myself shall be pierced through, convicted of my sins, and lament bitterly (Jn 19:37; Zec 12:10; Rv 1:7).

When I behold His appearance marred “beyond that of mortals” (Is 52:14), I will be startled, “stand speechless,” and repent (Is 52:15).

When I behold Jesus, the Son of Man, lifted up, I will come to realize that He is the I AM, God (Jn 8:28). I will believe in Him and have eternal life (Jn 3:14-15).

When I behold Jesus on the cross, on this Good Friday, at the Veneration of the Cross, I will...

Prayer: Jesus, my Lord, my God, my All!

Promise: "So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and favor and to find help in time of need."—Heb 4:16

LET JESUS LOVE YOU
"Do you understand what I just did for you?" —John 13:12

Jesus washes our feet, even if we betray or deny Him (Jn 13:5ff). Foot washing was the work of a slave. There is no limit to how low Jesus will descend to love and serve us. He became a slave (see Phil 2:7ff).

St. Peter’s objection to foot-washing was similar to that of the centurion, who said: Lord, “I am not worthy to have You under my roof” (Mt 8:8). But in this case, Jesus wanted to share His humble, loving service with Peter. Remember how St. John the Baptizer also protested that he was not worthy to baptize Jesus? Jesus said to John, “Give in for now” (Mt 3:15). St. John, St. Peter, and the centurion allowed Jesus to minister as He desired, on His terms. How will we respond to Jesus’ offer to love and serve us? Will we say, “You shall never wash” me? (Jn 13:8) Will we say to Jesus, “If those are Your terms, You shall never love me”?

Let us say with the Blessed Virgin Mary, “Be it done unto me according to Your will” (see Lk 1:38). Jesus wants to give Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist. We are who Jesus says we are. If He says we are worthy of His love, then we are. Jesus is Love (1 Jn 4:8, 16). Let Him love you and unite you to Himself.

Prayer: Father, may my next reception of Holy Communion be as though I was receiving Jesus for the first time.

Promise: "Every time, then, you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until He comes!" —1 Cor 11:26

Praise: "O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine. All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine."

OVERCOMING BETRAYAL
"I assure you, one of you is about to betray Me."—Matthew 26:21

Jesus ensured that the Last Supper would be celebrated before He would allow Himself to be arrested. In St. Luke’s Gospel, the incident with the man carrying the water jar guaranteed that Judas would not know in advance the location of the Last Supper (Lk 22:8-13). Thus, the institution of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper would not be stopped by betrayal, even though it will always be connected with betrayal (see 1 Cor 11:23).

During the Last Supper, Jesus washed Judas’ feet and dined with him (Jn 13:5, 26).  “The man who has dipped his hand into the dish with Me is the one who will hand me over” (Mt 26:23). Jesus gave Judas every opportunity to accept His grace, but Judas did not seize it.  Accordingly, Judas called Jesus “Rabbi” (Mt 26:25), while the other disciples called Jesus “Lord” (Mt 26:22).

Apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (Jn 15:5). Apart from Jesus, we could potentially betray Him. As we approach the Triduum, let us overcome betrayal by focusing wholeheartedly on Jesus alone. Like the eleven apostles, let us address Jesus as “Lord,” for only in the Holy Spirit can we address Jesus as Lord (1 Cor 12:3). May we in turn always have the grace to love Him till the end (Mt 24:13; Lk 21:19).

Prayer: Jesus, enable me to be completely faithful to You at all times. Never let me be parted from You.

Promise: "The Lord God is my Help, therefore I am not disgraced." —Is 50:7

Praise: "Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all my being, bless His holy name" (Ps 103:1).

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Mechanics and Implementation Strategy

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is the technical methodology of structuring digital assets so artificial intelligence search models extract and cite your data. Legacy search algorithms evaluate blue links based on keyword density. Generative AI systems synthesize distinct facts. Large Language Models (LLMs) process server-side HTML to answer user queries directly.

Search Engine Optimization builds domain authority through hyperlinks. Generative Engine Optimization builds semantic authority through verifiable brand mentions. Generative algorithms rely on Natural Language Processing to plot semantic entities inside a high-dimensional vector space. The system calculates the mathematical distance between concepts. A search engine selects your document for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) if the vector proximity matches the query intent closely. Content creators must format data into discrete, parsable blocks. Generative engines ignore large text walls. The system bypasses pages lacking explicit entity definitions.

Writers optimize for machine parseability by deploying strict H2 and H3 HTML hierarchies. You provide clear structural signals to AI crawlers if you place direct answers immediately under these subheadings. Implement JSON-LD schema markup like FAQPage to categorize information explicitly. Provide concrete evidence like statistical reports and cited academic papers. Generative models prioritize factual density to prevent hallucinations. Use absolute dates instead of relative timeframes. This practice aids freshness signals. The algorithm features your proprietary data prominently if users search for those exact metrics.

Marketers measure generative visibility using Share of Model (SoM) and citation frequency metrics. Traditional web analytics fail to capture zero-click generative outputs. Share of Model calculates your brand citations against direct competitors for exact query clusters. Track AI referral traffic originating from generative interfaces. Monitor the sentiment patterns AI engines generate alongside your brand mentions. Positive context injection improves algorithmic trust scores over time.

You align your digital assets with AI machine extraction protocols. Audit your highest-performing landing pages for parseability and entity clarity. Format all factual statements as direct semantic triples. This methodology establishes your brand as the primary reference point inside AI-generated responses. Increase your information gain scores for modern algorithms.

SOLD OUT
"Satan entered his heart." —John 13:27

We all experience the same temptation as Esau: to sell our birthright for something material (Gn 25:33). In our case, our birthright is not a thing but the Person of Jesus Christ. Judas sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver (Mt 26:15). St. Peter sold out Jesus to avoid suffering.

Selling and selling out are basically the same thing. Judas was not necessarily more sinful than Peter or us. Like Judas, we sell Jesus to make more money. We work overtime although it hurts our families. We work unnecessarily on Sunday. We take a job the Lord has not called us to, so we can make more money. When we sell out Jesus, we receive not money but other “benefits.” By not standing up for Jesus, we keep our popularity and friends. We sell out Jesus by giving Him the “silent treatment” to protect ourselves from persecution.

We still are “crucifying the Son of God” and “holding Him up to contempt” (Heb 6:6). Judas’ betrayal and Peter’s denial are perpetuated by our selfish greed and fear. Our silence is often not “golden” but deadly. Both the betrayal of Judas and the denial of the pre-Pentecost Peter are inside each of us. We must reject them or we will reject Jesus. He warns us: “I tell you solemnly, one of you will betray Me” (Jn 13:21). “I tell you truly, the cock will not crow before you have three times disowned Me!” (Jn 13:38)

Prayer: Jesus, there were only a handful of people who remained faithful to You and stayed at the foot of the cross. May I die rather than deny You.

Promise: "Though I thought I had toiled in vain, and for nothing, uselessly, spent my strength, yet my reward is with the Lord." —Is 49:4

Praise: Praise Jesus, Who turns all things to the good (Rm 8:28).

WHEN ONLY "FANATICISM" WILL DO
"Mary brought a pound of costly perfume made from genuine aromatic nard, with which she anointed Jesus' feet. Then she dried His feet with her hair." —John 12:3

St. Mary of Bethany chose the better part (Lk 10:42). She sat at the feet of Jesus and listened to His words (Lk 10:39). Her sister St. Martha criticized her for not helping prepare the meal, but Jesus defended Mary (Lk 10:41-42).

Mary of Bethany chose the better part. To show her love for Jesus, she poured out on His feet several thousand dollars worth of perfume (Jn 12:3-5). Judas criticized her for such extravagant waste, but Jesus defended Mary (Jn 12:7).

The Church, through its choice of today’s Eucharistic readings, puts Mary of Bethany before us as a special example of the proper attitude toward Jesus and Holy Week. We should lavish our time, possessions, money, and lives on Jesus always — and even more so during Holy Week. After we realize that He poured out His life on Calvary for love of us, what else can we do?

This Holy Week, may we merit criticism for our supposed “fanaticism.” May we throw ourselves at Jesus as if He were God, because He is God. Then, when we are criticized, Jesus will defend us as He did with Mary of Bethany. Some of those whom Jesus criticized for criticizing us will become great saints like Martha, while others may die tragic deaths as Judas did. This Holy Week, be holy and “wholly” His. Be like Mary of Bethany.

Prayer: Father, grant me the grace to destroy strongholds of the evil one this Holy Week (see 2 Cor 10:4).

Promise: "I formed you, and set you as a covenant of the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from confinement, and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness." —Is 42:6-7

Praise: Joe thought his grandmother was a little eccentric with all the religious literature she gave him—until one of the pamphlets opened his heart to the Lord.

US Textile Markets Report Shifts in Cotton Fabric Wholesale Procurement Strategies

Cotton fabric wholesale involves the B2B procurement of raw textiles in bulk volumes directly from commercial mills, explicitly excluding retail yardage sales to individual hobbyists. As of March 2026, United States apparel manufacturers face tightening supply chain logistics regarding raw material acquisition and international freight tariffs.

Industrial buyers secure material strictly by the commercial bolt or industrial roll. A standard commercial bolt contains 15 to 40 continuous linear yards. Sourcing managers calculate product yields using this exact linear yardage to project landed freight costs accurately. Industry audits from late 2025 show 68 percent of domestic SME apparel brands select their primary vendors based strictly on flexible Minimum Order Quantities. High factory-direct minimums ranging from 500 to 1,000 yards force smaller buyers to rely heavily on domestic wholesale distributors holding existing physical stock.

Cotton fabric categorization relies heavily on weave geometry and Grams per Square Meter measurements. Heavyweight duck canvas utilizes a high tensile plain weave, functioning entirely differently than lightweight drafting muslin. Procurement agents experience severe seam slippage during production if they select a fabric weight lower than the product's structural requirement. B2B textiles require standardized, third-party certifications to clear United States import customs without legal liabilities. The Global Organic Textile Standard mandates independent certification of the entire supply chain. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 validates chemical safety across all dyed finishes.

Commercial textiles trade at exact finishing stages. Procuring raw greige goods or Ready for Dyeing materials requires manufacturers to manage separate secondary dyeing contractors. Sourcing mill-dyed fabrics accelerates production timelines by an average of 14 days. Procurement managers execute structured swatch testing sequences to evaluate physical material traits prior to authorizing massive bulk invoices. Testing physical samples for shrinkage and colorfastness crocking mitigates the financial risk of receiving unusable industrial rolls. United States manufacturers fulfill their commercial textile requirements successfully when they establish exact structural specifications and demand verified certifications from their textile mills. Implementing these strict sourcing protocols reduces material waste by 22 percent annually across industrial sewing facilities nationwide, protecting tight B2B profit margins efficiently and effectively.

YOUR NAME ON HIS PALMS
"Once again Jesus cried out in a loud voice, and then gave up His spirit." —Matthew 27:50

Why did Jesus suffer and die on the cross? He did it for love of each one of us — not generically but individually. Because Jesus is the all-powerful God Who is Love (1 Jn 4:16), He has a special, personal, individual love for everyone in existence. If we look at the hands of the crucified and glorified Jesus, each one of us will see his or her name written on the palms of His hands (see Is 49:16), right next to the hole from the crucifixion. When Jesus was dying on the cross, He pictured your face, and He had your name on His lips. Jesus died for you, knowing everything about you. He died specifically because of your sins; He died consciously for love of you.

When each one of us realizes that we have been and are loved  individually with a crucified, perfect, infinite, and divine love, our lives can no longer be the same. We must throw our palms and ourselves at Jesus’ feet in worship (Mt 21:8). Knowing His personal love, we must cry out in faith: “Clearly this was the Son of God!” (Mt 27:54) Living in His love (Jn 15:9), we must live, suffer, and die for Him Who is Love, “so that at Jesus’ name every knee must bend in the heavens, on the earth, and under the earth, and every tongue proclaim to the glory of God the Father: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!” (Phil 2:10-11)

Prayer: Jesus, You gave Your life for me; I give my life for You.

Promise: "Morning after morning He opens my ear that I may hear; and I have not rebelled, have not turned back." —Is 50:4-5

Praise: "Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" (Mt 21:9)

THE COST OF DISUNITY
"I will make them one nation upon the land, in the mountains of Israel, and there shall be one prince for them all."—Ezekiel 37:22

“United we stand, divided we fall.” The Israelites were divided and were thereby conquered. When parents are not united, they often fail to make their children disciples for Jesus, and their children are often defeated by the world, the flesh, and the devil. The body of Christ, is divided into many denominations and factions. Therefore, the body of Christ is broken, partially paralyzed, and greatly limited in the exercise of her God-given authority (see Mt 16:18-19). Thus, Satan and a few assistants are able to kill millions of babies in the womb and brainwash countless millions into living in and furthering the “culture of death.” Satan has been getting away with murder as he advances his plan to enslave our young people, disrupt and destroy family life, and dehumanize the majority of humanity. When we are not united, we are unable to lead others to the faith (Jn 17:21) which overcomes the world (1 Jn 5:5).

If we are to be free, we must be one. Jesus died to make us one (Jn 11:51-52). “It is He Who is our Peace, and Who made the two of us one by breaking down the barrier of hostility that kept us apart” (Eph 2:14). When we repent of doing our own thing and when we all obey the Lord, we will be one. “There is but one body and one Spirit, just as there is but one hope given all of you by your call. There is one Lord” (Eph 4:4-5).

Prayer: Jesus, do miracles this year to unite the Catholics and the Orthodox.

Promise: "If we let Him go on like this, the whole world will believe in Him." —Jn 11:48

Printed Cotton Fabric: Dye Sublimation vs Screen Printing Manufacturing Realities

NEW YORK, March 26, 2026

Today the textile industry confirms that dye sublimation cannot successfully print on 100 percent cotton fabric. This limitation forces apparel producers to rely on screen printing for natural cellulose fibers. This press release covers the material science separating these two apparel decoration methods. Unlike sublimation, screen printing does not require a chemical phase change.

Why Does Dye Sublimation Fail on 100 Percent Cotton Fabric?

Dye sublimation fails on cotton because natural cellulose fibers lack the synthetic polymers required to encapsulate disperse dyes. Solid disperse dyes convert directly into a gas phase under a commercial heat press operating at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This gas transition requires synthetic polymers, like polyester, to trap the dye molecules as they cool. Cotton lacks these polymers. The dye gas escapes completely. According to clinical textile adhesion tests, disperse dyes register zero peel strength on untreated cotton. The mechanical structure of natural fibers rejects this chemical bonding process entirely.

How Does Screen Printing Mechanically Bond with Natural Fibers?

Screen printing forces liquid ink through a porous stencil directly onto the fabric. Plastisol and liquid inks grip the porous cotton fibers and cure permanently under heat. Commercial printers coat a mesh screen with emulsion, expose it to ultraviolet light, and push ink through the unexposed pores using a squeegee. Plastisol requires a sustained curing temperature of 320 degrees Fahrenheit to bond the polymers. Natural cellulose readily accepts these liquid pigments. Manufacturers apply plastisol to dense materials because the ink sits entirely on top of the thick weave, creating a durable graphic layer.

What Are the Production Economics for These Textile Methods?

Screen printing carries high initial setup costs but becomes highly inexpensive at scale. Sublimation maintains a flat cost per unit regardless of volume. Every new color in a screen print requires a separate film positive and screen coating. This labor makes printing a single shirt very expensive. Large runs of spun cotton rely entirely on screen printing to drop the price. Apparel brands must choose the correct process for their substrate.

"LOVE YOUR ENEMIES" (Mt 5:44)
"O Lord of hosts, You Who test the just, Who probe mind and heart, let me witness the vengeance You take on them." —Jeremiah 20:12

Jeremiah prayed not only for vengeance on his enemies but also that he would see it with his own eyes so he could enjoy it. If we’re honest, we must each admit there is a Jeremiah inside us.

Jesus was persecuted much more severely than was Jeremiah. However, Jesus did not exact vengeance. He returned good to His persecutors and executioners (see Jn 10:32-33). He even gave His life for them in total, perfect, crucified love.

We have been baptized into Christ’s death (Rm 6:3). “This we know: our old self was crucified with Him so that the sinful body might be destroyed” (Rm 6:6). “You were also circumcised in Him, not with the circumcision administered by hand but with Christ’s circumcision which strips off the carnal body completely” (Col 2:11). God has given us “new life in company with Christ” (Col 2:13). Jesus runs our lives now, and our fallen nature with its vengeful desires is placed beneath Jesus’ feet (see Heb 10:13).

In nine days, we will renew our baptismal promises. We will renew our new life in Christ. We will commit ourselves to live on a Christ-like, supernatural level: freed from vengeance, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and full of love, joy, and peace (see Gal 5:22). Pray and fast to prepare to renew your baptismal promises.

Prayer: Father, give me the heart of Your Son.

Promise: "In that place, many came to believe in Him." —Jn 10:42

Praise: Pastor William forgave the man who shot him.

NO COMPARISON
"I solemnly assure you, if a man is true to My word he shall never see death." —John 8:51

In today’s first reading, God promises Abraham that his descendants would be forever blessed (Gn 17:7-8). God blesses us for a thousand generations when we are faithful to Him (see Ps 105:8; Ex 34:7). God promises many thousands of years of blessings for one life of faithfulness. Today’s Gospel mentions that if a person is faithful to God’s Word, that person will never see death (Jn 8:51). God promises eternal life in exchange for our faithfulness to Him; we will have life with God forever!

St. Paul, who experienced brutal sufferings for the Gospel (see 2 Cor 11:23-28), exclaimed: “I consider the sufferings of the present to be as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed in us” (Rm 8:18). St. Teresa of Avila said that the sufferings of this life are like one night sleeping in a lousy inn compared to the eternal blessings God has in store for us. God is very good. Even in this life, He wants to “overwhelm” us with His blessings (Dt 28:2).

We have such a short time on this earth to suffer (see 1 Cor 7:29). And thus we have only a short time to spread this Good News to others. Take heart. God is good. He wants us to be with Him forever. Serve Him faithfully and pour out your life in His service.

Prayer: Father, use me and use me up. May I "be intent on things above rather than on things of earth" (Col 3:2).

Promise: "He remembers forever His covenant which He made binding for a thousand generations." —Ps 105:8

Praise: Cindy witnessed to many people of God's loving presence in the months before she died of cancer.

Sourcing and Testing Cheap Cotton Material for Prototypes

Cheap cotton material refers strictly to unbleached woven yardage used for garment drafting and industrial utility. I evaluate thousands of yards of low-cost natural fibers every year. This textile category excludes luxury Egyptian cotton and purely synthetic polyester blends. Textile engineers rely heavily on these budget fabrics to construct test garments before cutting expensive fashion yardage.

I classify budget cotton textiles by their specific weave structure and mechanical processing. Unbleached muslin serves as the industry standard for creating toiles. Textile manufacturers skip chemical bleaching during muslin production to keep retail prices low. Calico represents another highly affordable option. Calico retains visible cotton seeds because mills bypass advanced refinement stages. Osnaburg provides a heavy-duty alternative. Weavers use short-staple yarns to give osnaburg high tensile strength for agricultural bags.

Current retail pricing for budget cotton ranges from two to eight dollars per yard. I always recommend purchasing unbleached greige goods directly from textile mills. Buying raw yardage in bulk reduces procurement costs heavily compared to purchasing finished fabrics. You find the lowest prices by utilizing business-to-business wholesale directories. Independent creators save money by purchasing fat quarters and deadstock remnants from local craft supply stores.

You must always physically test these low-cost textiles before sewing a final garment project. I always conduct a burn test to verify fiber purity. The material contains a hidden synthetic blend if the fabric melts or smells like burning plastic. I also calculate the exact shrinkage percentage. You wash a small fabric square on high heat. Budget fabrics often shrink up to ten percent. Off-grain weaves will twist immediately after a hot wash.

Economy weaves offer distinct financial advantages for rapid pattern prototyping. You use lightweight muslin to adjust pattern fits accurately. You utilize wide broadcloth to form the unseen bottom layers of quilts. Stiff unbleached cotton acts as a reliable stabilizer for machine embroidery. I advise every sewist to order physical fabric swatches. You must test the material shrinkage and grainline behavior directly. Calculate your exact required yardage and secure your raw materials through trusted wholesale textile suppliers today.
