February 25th Second Sunday of Lent
Jesus, thank You for giving Your church the understanding to have this season of Lent.
Thank You Jesus, for the opportunity this gives us to truly look at ourselves and see what needs
to be improved and changed.
Jesus, we can learn to control, but only You can change us.
Jesus, bring us to Your Body in adoration and let us sit and learn.
Let us pray and grow.
Let us feel Your peace and accept You truly as our Lord and God.
Thank You Jesus, for the Eucharist.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday "HE LOVES ME. HE LOVES ME NOT. HE LOVES ME..."

"A cloud came, overshadowing them, and out of the cloud a voice: 'This is My Son, My Beloved. Listen
to Him.' " -Mark 9:7
"God is for us" (Rm 8:31). He "did not spare His own Son but handed Him over for the sake of us all"
(Rm 8:32). After that, will He not "grant us all things besides?" (Rm 8:32) God couldn't love us
more. He loves us unconditionally, sacrificially, infinitely, perfectly, and eternally.
Nevertheless, God does things and allows things in our lives which we can't understand. Although this
should make us question our powers of understanding, we are instead tempted to question God's love.
To dispel all doubts about His love, the Lord does not necessarily explain in detail why things are
the way they are. Rather, He speaks to us of His cross. He does not always explain why we suffer but
rather that He suffered and died for love of us. Jesus joined humanity in its sufferings. Jesus is
Emmanuel, that is, "God with us" in suffering (see Mt 1:23).
To learn the lessons of love in the midst of suffering, we must listen to Jesus when He speaks of
the cross (see Mk 9:7). This is a difficult subject for us. However, it is Jesus' favorite subject,
and because Jesus is our transfigured Lord and God, we listen to Him.
Prayer: Father, send the Holy Spirit to help me to listen to Jesus about crucified love.
Promise: "I swear by Myself, declares the Lord, that because you acted as you did in not withholding
from Me your beloved son, I will bless you abundantly." -Gn 22:16-17
Praise: Praise Jesus, transfigured, crucified, risen, and glorified God!

Fear is useless. LORD please look kindly on the petitions posted and all the requests said silently
in our hearts. Thank you LORD for forgiving my sins and the sins of the world if we all ask. LORD
please help me to be a true Christian presence and a true Christian inside. Help me to walk with you
LORD. With your help I can walk righteously and confidently to the kingdom of heaven. May I bring
others there also.

Trails are a gift from the Lord because they draw us closer to His heart. Once again I have a prayer
request or I should say a few requests. My sister, Liz, remains in hospice. This will be a long
process. My niece, Theresa Bates Scott, has ARDS and is in intensive care. This is a very serious
illness related to the lungs. My twin sister, Bernie, has a very serious eye infection and has to
have a cornea transplant. And lastly, I have an acute compression fracture at the L9 vertebra. This
is my 5th fracture of the vertebrae. AT one point my doctor said I had 7 fractures but he corrected
his total yesterday. This in itself is good news. I will have to have cyphoplasty on this fracture.
Bernie and I feel humbled to share in the sufferings of Jesus during lent. We would greatly
appreciate your prayers for our family.

enemies are saved. But, rest assured you are a child of God; doing His will and His good.

Please pray for me and my family for good health and wealth. Please pray for my wife to have safe
delivery. I will like to start up my own business I need money for the capital of the business.
Please pray for me on job security so I will be able to raise up the money. Also pray for me so that
the company money uche Joseph Ogoko run away with on the 3/2/2018 that is under my care uche should
return the money or come back on or before 3/3 /2018 because the company is after me. Thanks

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 26 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.
