Sept. 28 th 26th Sunday in ordinary time
Jesus, as always, You give us great help, and You have,
by giving us Your angels.
Lord, we are blessed that Your angels are messengers,
and helpers, and advocates before Your throne.
This week, Jesus, we celebrate the archangels and
guardian angels.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your loving care, and Your plan
for our salvation.
Thank You for giving us such beautiful guides and
defenders, we thank You for their love and steadfastness.
We thank You that they are so willing to stay with us,
through all the difficulties of our lives, and will even guard
us at our deaths. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday THE THIRD SON

"Son, go out and work in the vineyard today..." —Matthew 21:28
The first son did nothing for his father except displease and
disrespect him. The son's initial "Yes" translated into
nothing being done for the vineyard that day; in addition, it
put the father a full day behind in chores to be done in the
vineyard (Mt 21:29).
The second son did the father's will, yet not perfectly in all
respects. The father, however, was satisfied. The vineyard
chores were done, and the father, though wounded by the
son's disobedience and rebelliousness, found joy in the son's
repentance and ultimate obedience (Mt 21:30).
There is a third Son in this story. He is Jesus, the Storyteller,
the Son of God (Jn 1:49). This Son did His Father's will
obediently, instantly, and lovingly. Speaking of His
relationship with His Father, Jesus said: "I always do what
pleases Him" (Jn 8:29).
Our "attitude must be that of Christ" (Phil 2:5). Be so
caught up in love with our heavenly Father as to eagerly
seek and fulfill His every desire. Repent of displeasing and
disobeying the Father. Tell Him "Yes." Then go out, work
in His vineyard, and bear fruit that will endure for His glory
(Mt 21:28; Jn 15:8, 16).

Satan is real. He is a fallen angel (Rv 12:7ff) bent on
seducing us, destroying us, and leading us to hell. Although
we humans are very weak and stupid compared to Satan,
we have authority over him by the power of Jesus
(see Mt 10:1). In fact, Jesus has already irreversibly
defeated Satan. "The strife is o'er, the battle done." All
that remains is to place Jesus' enemies beneath His feet
(Heb 10:13).
How could we ever lose a war we've already won? The devil's
only hope is to confuse us so much that we don't know that
he exists, that a war is going on, that he is the enemy, and
that Jesus has already won. It seems
impossible to ...................

PM Internet Prayer Requests

I am in crisis right now. I have lost my job, am being evicted
and have no place to turn to. My family is all deceased and I
am alone and frightened as to where I will end up. I have
worked all my life and losing my job has put me in this
position. I have been looking for work and no doors are
opening, I need intervention and I only ask for prayer that
this will be over soon as I can't deal with it much longer. I
thank you for listening. Please pray for me, please!

Can't seem to shake the blues. It seems that every change
of season I get them. Pray for me a good day at work today
and that we don't get out too late and that I get supper at a

Dear GOD, I pray that there will be love, beleive in you. I
want peace in the world. That a good man will be picked
to be our president the middle class need someone to help
them. We can not live another 4 years in such dire straights,
so many people losing jobs and homes.

Dear LORD, I pray unto You in thanksgiving for all of the
many blessings You have given through out my life. I pray
that You will continue to protect, guide and love all of my
family, friends, and loved ones. Please help us all to live
according to Your word and to become better followers of
Christ. As my life continues to change, I pray that my faith
in You will not faulter and that You will help strengthen me
when I become weak. I also pray for all of those who keep
me in their thoughts and prayers that they may be truly
blessed. I pray that You will hear all of the intentions of my
heart, LORD, and help me in all my days. In Jesus' name I

I am struggling with fear, my body is going backwards,
forwards, inward and so on. I am no longer myself - due to
the damage of fear I thought. I am not seeing reality due to
the abuse I went through - can't trust living with family but
have to work till end of month. So much anxiety. was feeling
the devil when not there. Severe phobia of parents agitation
at evil or treatment that is not my idea of good. very bad view
of things, but that is hurt, distorting Please pray for that to
be taken away removed healed or corrected. I need my
shower head back from dad, and respect even when I do
wrong. I pray about these issues and ask for God's will to
be done. living place, ie townhome desired Amen.
