PM eNewsletter 25th Sunday in ordinary time

My brothers and sisters in Christ. I have a question for you.
Have you shared this eNewsletter with anyone lately?
Pray on it and pass the WORD.

God Bess you and all you care for.
The editor

Sept. 21st 25th Sunday in ordinary time

Jesus, You always give us aids to help us to walk life in You.

This week, Lord, Your church raises up to us a man of great
determination and love.

St. Padre Pio, a man who not only received the stigmata,
but also had to live through a lot of rejection and emotional pain.

Yet, Lord, he never wavered in his commitment to You.

He was a man of great prayer, and a person who received
many of your sublime gifts, like healing and bio-location.

He could read hearts, and his masses where great renewals
of Calvary lived out in Padre Pio.

Jesus, his suffering, put with Yours, has given us all great
graces. Thank You, Jesus. Amen and Amen

Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

One Bread, One Body

This weeks readings and reflections

Sunday THE EXHILARATION OF NOT GETTING OUR WAY
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=9/21/2008

"As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are My
ways above your ways and My thoughts above your thoughts." —Isaiah 55:9

Because God's thoughts and ways are very different than
ours, we must think and act very differently from what we are
comfortable with, if we are to have the mind of Christ
(1 Cor 2:16). In other words, if it feels good, don't do it!

Until we are very holy, doing things God's way will be
heart-wrenching. It will upset us to not get our way. However,
we give in and do it God's way anyway because we love Him.
Sometimes we don't even understand what God is doing, but
there's something mysteriously beautiful about living in this
kingdom of God and living so foreign to our natural ways.
There is such authentic fulfillment in losing our lives (Lk 9:24),
abandoning ourselves to the Lord, not relying on our own
understanding (Prv 3:5), and not doing our own thing. What
freedom we have in not being confined to our own thoughts
and ways, but living a new life of faith in the Lord! (see Gal 2:20)

"For who can see Him and describe Him? Or who can
praise Him as He is? Beyond these, many things lie hid;
only a few of His works have we seen" (Sir 43:33-34). "How
deep are the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of
God! How inscrutable His judgments, how unsearchable His
ways!" (Rm 11:33) "To Him be glory forever. Amen" (Rm 11:36).

Monday A LAMP TO THEIR FEET
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=9/22/2008

"No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel basket or
under a bed; he puts it on a lampstand so that whoever
comes in can see it." —Luke 8:16

Tuesday POOR PRAYER
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=9/23/2008

"He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will himself
also call and not be heard." —Proverbs 21:13

Pope Benedict XVI, Shepherd of Truth

Notable quotations from Pope Benedict XVI and official
teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

MISSION AND EVANGELIZATION

RESPONSE TO LOVE
By looking at St. Paul's experience, we understand that
missionary activity is a response to the love with which
God loves us. His love redeems us and prods us to the
missio ad gentes.

LOVE FROM THE HEART OF JESUS
..It is God ... Who leads the Church towards the frontiers
of humanity and calls the evangelizers to drink "from the
original source, which is Jesus Christ, from Whose pierced
hear flows the love of God" (Deus Caritas Est, n. 7).

"WAITING FOR THE GOSPEL"
Today there are countless people who are waiting for the
Gospel, those who are thirsting for hope and love.
