Jesus, You were baptised in the river Jordon by John the Baptist,
to show us all the value and need for baptism.
This sacrament truly makes us all sons and daughters of God.
What an amazing gift we receive.
Who can't truly understand Your love for us, that even though we
are naturally prone to sin, we are called to come above our human
condition and be Your brothers and sisters.
Help us to realize that Your love also calls us to live our baptismal
promises, to reject satan, and all evil spirits.
Help us to help. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday LOVE LASTS

"You are My Beloved..." —Luke 3:22
On the last day of Christmas, my true Love, Jesus, gave to me
a deeper life in the Spirit. On the last day of Christmas, my true
Love, the Holy Spirit, cried out in my heart "Abba" ("Father")
(Gal 4:6). On the last day of Christmas, my true Love, God the
Father, revealed Jesus to me in a new way (Lk 10:22) and gave
me an even deeper life in the Spirit (Jn 14:16). On the last day
of Christmas, I was caught in the crossfire of the Trinity's love.
The Father spoke; Jesus saved; the Spirit descended.
Are you ready to "grasp fully, with all the holy ones, the breadth
and length and height and depth of Christ's love, and experience
this love which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may attain
to the fullness of God Himself"? (Eph 3:18-19) Are you ready to
be loved as the Father loves Jesus? (Jn 15:9) On this last day of
Christmas, will you let the love of God be poured out in your
heart through the Holy Spirit? (Rm 5:5)
"God is Love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God
in him" (1 Jn 4:16). Christmas is all about God's love. Make this
the day, the year, and the life of love.

I pray my daughter is accepted by and admitted into her first
choice of graduate school on a full time basis for the Fall 2010
semester. I pray she is accepted by all the graduate programs
to which she has applied or is applying.

Michael, age 54. He just had an MRI on his ankle and the doctor
said he has numerous tumors on his ankle bone and on the leg
bone. Pray for successful surgery, and the wisdom of the doctors,
May the tumors NOT be malignant and that he has complete
healing, I pray in Jesus name, Amen

MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES
"PROPER ATTENTION"
I warmly hope that proper attention will be given to minor migrants
who need a social environment that permits and fosters their
physical, cultural, spiritual and moral development. Living in a
foreign land without effective points of reference generates
countless and sometimes serious hardships and difficulties for
them, especially those deprived of the support of their family.

of the social and pastoral challenges posed by migrant and
