October 7th 27th Sunday in ordinary time.
Jesus, in giving us Mary as our mother, You also gave us
through her, a mighty source of power, the rosary.
Please, Jesus, give us the grace as we celebrate the
feast of the "Our Lady of the Rosary" this week.
The real desire to glorify You by meditating on the
mysteries of life and love.
The joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous rosaries
give us Your life and the most outstanding moments of
Your actions, that get us all to the eternal life that
was established permanently by Your death.
Help us all to say a rosary a day for all of our family
members and for peace in our homes and the world.
Amen and Amen.
Thanks to You, Lord, for loving us totally.

For almost forty years, we have been fighting to protect babies from being
killed through abortion. At first, many of us thought we could stop abortion
through education and legislation. In time, it became clear that there was
more to it. To stop abortion required changing the hearts of people. This
was a significant insight, but we found that there was even more to it. We
must also fight the devil, for our battle is not against human beings, but
against Satan himself (Eph 6:12).
Now we're starting to see that to fight abortion we must also oppose
artificial contraception, child abuse, and divorce. Artificial contraception
promotes a sinful and irresponsible use of sex. This results in a greater
demand for abortion. Those who were abused as children in turn often abuse
their own children, unless they let the Lord heal them. The ultimate child
abuse is killing a child through abortion. Furthermore, divorce results in
more divorces for those divorced and for their children and grandchildren.
When divorced from a spouse, we can easily divorce or separate ourselves from
other people, even from the most vulnerable people of all, children in the
womb.
The longer we try, the more we see how humanly impossible it is for us to
stop abortion. Nonetheless, we are confident that abortion will be stopped,
"for nothing is impossible with God" (Lk 1:37).
Prayer: Father, strip away my apathy so that I may I never divorce myself
from even the most painful realities.
Promise: "A man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and
the two of them become one body." -Gn 2:24
Praise: Praise You, Jesus, King of kings! You have won the victory over sin
and death, and You sit at the right hand of the Father (Rv 3:21). Alleluia!

I know that God's hands are moving in solution to my problems. However, in the past,
everytime things seems to be working out and I get really close, it doesn't work out.
I need the Lord to do His will and finish His work for me. I need it because I am so
exhausted. He said he won't give me a suffering I cannot bear.

I Live by myself. I do not drive anymore. The people I know, even if they are
Catholics , they are not practicing Catholics. I do pray this morning I was up around
5am I said Morning Prayers that Catholics do not say any more. I follow the Mass and
the Novena. I am constantly thinking of God . He Knows it. In my own sinful imperfect
ways I come to Him. I don't know what I am doing half of the time.But, I want to be
with me. When I hear from You my day is wonderful! You see I am very lonely. May be a
group Catholic Friends. God wants us to pray for one another. And now that our
freedoms are being taking away more than ever. But, still many Catholics will vote for
the most pro abortion president we ever had. If I say anything they get mad. God has
to work much with His children. Thank you .

Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
