PM eNewsletter 29th Sunday in ordinary time.

October 18th 29th Sunday in ordinary time.

Oh! Christ, always and everywhere, remind us through the
Holy Spirit to come and adore Your living presense in the
tabernacle.

Let us sit or kneel, and just adore, and thank You for Your
love for all of us.

Keep us from getting so busy in our daily life that we
forget that You, and You alone, are the way, the truth, and
the life.

Ask Your loving mother to come and adore with us, so
that we will stay focused on Your true presense.

Inspire us through this adoration to realize that all things
work to good for those who love You.

Give us the faith to always trust You.

Amen and Amen.

Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

One Bread, One Body

This weeks readings and reflections

Sunday SPEAKING OF LOVE
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=10/18/2009

"Since, then, we have a great High Priest Who has passed
through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast
to our profession of faith." —Hebrews 4:14

Human beings have a tendency to tell others about those
they love. Parents like to show anyone pictures of their
children. Brides-to-be usually can't say a sentence without
speaking of their fiances. For us to tell others about Jesus,
we must simply come to love Him. When we realize He gave
up His life for us (Is 53:10; Mt 20:28), love wells up in our
hearts. When we believe He took on Himself all our sins
and guilt (Is 53:11), we're attracted to this Person Who
loves us more than we love ourselves.

Jesus has always been there for us, ready to forgive us
and "sympathize with our weakness" (Heb 4:15). Through
Him, we can "confidently approach the throne of grace
to receive mercy and favor and to find help in time of
need" (Heb 4:16). Jesus is amazingly lovable. He is
perfect. He will never reject us (Jn 6:37). He has proven
His love. Never let a day go by without speaking to
someone of your love for Jesus.

"I will say to myself: 'You have blessings in reserve for
years to come. Relax!' " —Luke 12:19

Tuesday TELLING THE FUTURE
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=10/20/2009

"It will go well with those servants whom the master
finds wide-awake on his return." —Luke 12:37

PM Internet Prayer Requests

My husband Matt was found unresponsive this afternoon.
He is septic and his kidneys are already beginning to shut
down. He has a 50/50 of making it through the night, and
about a 20% chance of recovery. I will know within the
next 48 hours if he is going to survive this or not. The
doctors are clueless as to what has happened. Please
pray for him, myself, Jonathan, Kathryn, and LeighAnn as
we face this unexpected trial. Thank you

Pope Benedict XVI, Shepherd of Truth
http://presentationministries.com/BST/bst2009-08.asp?navlink=latest

Notable quotations from Pope Benedict XVI and official
teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

THE CHURCH AND MISSION

"DEEPER AWARENESS"

I turn ... to you ... to encourage in each one of you a
deeper awareness of Christ's missionary mandate to
"make disciples of all peoples" (Mt 28:19) in the
footsteps of St. Paul.

"THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL"

The goal of the Church's mission is to illumine all
peoples with the light of the Gospel as they journey
through history towards God, so that in Him they
may reach their full potential and fulfillment.

"A PRIMARY AND UNAVOIDABLE DUTY"

Proclamation of the Gospel must be for all of us, as
it was for the Apostle Paul, a primary and unavoidable
duty.

(Message for World Mission Sunday, 10/18/09, issued June 29, 2009)
