Here we are again, Jesus, into Christmas.
Please Lord, let this truly be a holy period, for us to prepare,
to herald Your birth.
Let us not get so wrapped up into presents, that we forget to
give You, the present of our love.
Let us see that in this amazing birth our eternal life factor was
now in play.
You came to give us all eternal life and You came to make
reparation for all of the sins that was ever or will be committed.
Let us be set on fire with love for You and the love You showed us.
Let us see You in others and be Christ to them, so that someday
we all may shine in heaven with You.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday PREGNANT AGAIN

Happy new year! Today we celebrate the first day of the new
Church year and of Advent. Today, in a spiritual sense, we conceive
new life and prepare to give birth to that life in the Christmas
season. Advent is similar to pregnancy, in that we carry, protect,
and nurture Christ's new life within us. We must take care not to
do anything which might hurt the baby. Therefore, the Church
warns us: "Be on guard lest your spirits become bloated with
indulgence and drunkenness and worldly cares" (Lk 21:34). Just
as a mother's smoking, drinking alcohol, or taking drugs can have
bad effects on her baby, so our sinful preoccupation with "worldly
cares" can damage or even abort the new life of Advent.
We should begin this year and this spiritual pregnancy by going to
Confession. By repenting, we remove things which stifle the growth
of God's life within us. We should also simplify our lives, freeing up
more time to pray, read God's word, evangelize, and share
fellowship. We should be nourished and rested in our pregnancy.
TV, videos, and compulsive activities could very well smother our
new life in God. Advent, like pregnancy, is a wonderful time as long
as we carefully protect and nourish the new life within us.

I am a Roman Catholic priest, a "cradle Catholic" who grew up
in an age of Catholic triumphalism. As children we were told to
play only with Catholics. Since Notre Dame football team won
almost all their games at that time, we believed that proved we
were better. As I grew older, got involved in a parish, and
eventually entered the seminary, I could see the Catholic
Church was definitely not perfect. But still I believed we were
the best. As I continued my studies for the priesthood and
was ordained, it was obvious the local Catholic church

Please pray for my son's friend whom has turned his life in to
looking for death.He wish's to die for he feels responsible for the
death's of his mother and his aunt.His mother was murdered his
Aunt comited suicide. He is only 14 and I belive he is a child of
GOD and needs a angle to whatch over him. Amen
