TRIUNE LOVE

"Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me?" -John 14:10

* If we really know Jesus, we know His Father also (Jn 14:7).
* If we see Jesus, we see the Father (Jn 14:9).
* The Father is in Jesus, and Jesus is in the Father (Jn 14:10).
* The words of Jesus are from His Father (Jn 14:10).
* The words and works of Jesus are to help us believe that the Father is in Jesus (Jn 14:11).
* We will do works greater by far than Jesus' works because Jesus has gone to the Father (Jn 14:12).
* Jesus answers our prayers in order to glorify the Father (Jn 14:13).

Jesus is immersed in the Father, and the Father in Jesus. This eternal, perfect Love between the Father and the Son is so real that its eternal Fruit is the third Person of the Blessed Trinity, the Holy Spirit, God Himself.

The purpose of our lives is to immerse ourselves into the height, breadth, length, and depth of this Trinitarian love (see Eph 3:18). We are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Mt 28:19). The mystery of Trinitarian love is so deep that we can live in it forever and only begin to experience it. The Holy Trinity, God Himself, "is Love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him" (1 Jn 4:16). Live in Love.

Prayer: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, may I obey Your commandments and live in Your love (Jn 15:10).

Promise: "The disciples could not but be filled with joy and the Holy Spirit." -Acts 13:52

Praise: St. Christopher gave his executioners absolution before he and Agustin Caloca were martyred.
