PM eNewsletter 27th Sunday in ordinary time

October 4th 27th Sunday in ordinary time.

Jesus, in giving us Mary as our mother, You also gave us
through her, a mighty source of power, the rosary.

Please, Jesus, give us the grace as we celebrate the
feast of the "Our Lady of the Rosary" this week.

The real desire to glorify You by meditating on the
mysteries of life and love.

The joyful, sorrowful, glorious and luminous rosaries
give us Your life and the most outstanding moments of
Your actions, that get us all to the eternal life that
was established permanently by Your death.

Help us all to say a rosary a day for all of our family
members and for peace in our homes and the world.

Thank You for loving us.

Amen and Amen.

Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

One Bread, One Body

This weeks readings and reflections

Sunday NO SEPARATION
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?lang=en&d=10/4/2015

"Therefore let no man separate what God has joined." -Mark 10:9

Jesus does not want husband and wife to be separated. Also, He became
indignant at His disciples for separating some children from Him
(Mk 10:14). Furthermore, Jesus does not want parents separated from
their children. Let no overtime, lifestyle, day care, extracurricular
activities, school, or other responsibilities separate what God has
joined together. Moreover, Jesus does not want family members separated
from each other by TV, overwork, communication breakdown, and
independent lifestyles. Jesus even refuses to separate Christians from
their enemies (see Mt 13:30).

The Lord does not want sexual relations separated from marriage. In
addition, Jesus, the Author of Life (Acts 3:15), does not want sperm and
egg separated through contraception or sterilization. He does not want
marriage separate from childbearing, nor childbearing separated from
making these children disciples for Jesus. The Lord abhors the separation
of a newly created human being from the womb of its mother. Let no one
separate by abortion baby from mother.

Finally, let no one separate Christians from one another. The Lord has
joined us to Him and to one another in Baptism (1 Cor 12:13). We are
brothers and sisters in Him. We must live in real Christian community and
not in worldly isolation and individualism. Let nothing separate what God
has joined.

Prayer: Father, by my life may I never choose separation from You forever
(see Mt 25:32).

Promise: "Indeed, it was fitting that when bringing many sons to glory God,
for Whom and through Whom all things exist, should make their Leader in the
work of salvation perfect through suffering." -Heb 2:10

Praise: Praise the Risen Jesus, Whose death and resurrection has enabled us
to remain unified!

Pope Francis, Shepherd of Truth
http://presentationministries.com/pope/fst2015-09.asp?navlink=latest

Notable quotations from Pope Francis and official
teachings of the Roman Catholic Church

ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI AND CREATION

A GREAT EXAMPLE

I believe that Saint Francis is the example par excellence of care for
the vulnerable and of an integral ecology lived out joyfully and
authentically ... He was particularly concerned for God's creation and
for the poor and the outcast. He loved, and was deeply loved for his
joy, his generous self-giving, his openheartedness. (10)

SIMPLICITY AND HARMONY

He was a mystic and a pilgrim who lived in simplicity and in wonderful
harmony with God, with others, with nature and with himself. He shows
us just how inseparable the bond is between concern for nature, justice
for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace. (10)

COMMUNING WITH ALL CREATION

... Whenever he would gaze at the sun, the moon or the smallest of
animals, he burst into song, drawing all other creatures into his praise.
He communed with all creation, even preaching to the flowers, inviting
them to "praise the Lord, just as if they were endowed with reason." (11)
