April 30, 2017 Third Sunday of Easter
Jesus, this week you give us great examples of trusting and giving workers of Yours, first
St. Joseph the worker who without fail gave all he had and all he was to You and Mary our Mother.
St. Joseph is a quiet, but great example of steady unconditional love.
We then, also have St's Philip and James, who did the unthinkable, they followed an uneducated
person to His cross and then to their own deaths.
Jesus, give us an Apostles zeal and love that we too might come to such an understanding of You,
that we will also willingly die to the world and all around us.
That we will so focus on You, that what others think won't matter and what happens to us doesn't
matter either.
Let us become totally yours in everything. Thank You for Your great love.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday PERFECT TIMING

"Stay with us. It is nearly evening - the day is practically over." -Luke 24:29
The Jewish people of Jesus' time measured their days not from morning to night but from
evening to evening. Thus, Jesus began the day of His death with the Last Supper, the first
Mass, and He ended the day of His resurrection with the second Mass. After a Liturgy of
the Word (lasting for the time it takes to walk about seven miles), Jesus "took bread,
pronounced the blessing, then broke the bread and began to distribute it to them. With that
their eyes were opened and they recognized Him" (Lk 24:30-31).
The early Church realized that Jesus' timing of the first two Masses (Eucharists) was very
significant. Led by the Spirit (Jn 16:13), they devoted themselves to the breaking of the
bread, that is, the Mass (Acts 2:42). Wherever the Church has emphasized devotion to the
Mass throughout its history, it has seen the love, power, and glory of God.
Therefore, let us fully enter into the Sunday celebration of the Mass. May it be the center
of our Sunday and of our life. Let us pray the Mass daily or as often as possible. Let us
visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. A life eucharistically centered is a life centered
on the crucified and risen Christ.
Prayer: Father, teach me to pray and live the Mass.
Promise: "Realize that you were delivered from the futile way of life your fathers handed
on to you, not by any diminishable sum of silver or gold, but by Christ's blood beyond all
price: the blood of a spotless, unblemished Lamb chosen before the world's foundation and
revealed for your sake in these last days." -1 Pt 1:18-20
Praise: Praise to You risen Lord Jesus, King of heaven and earth!

PM Internet Prayer Requests

I can't seem to find Christian close friends. I don't fit at Peachtree Presbyterian in
Atlanta or at any church. I have about given up. I am at my parents in Alabama tonight.
They are in their mid 80s and not much fun to be around. I guess I come to see them every
weekend because I don't have any friends and do not like spending time alone after going
to a singles Sunday school class and to church. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever
find any buds to pal around with again. Pray for me a great rest of the evening and a
great Sunday all day

In a week, I will be meeting with my sister in a mediation that I have arranged. I am
praying to move from any fear to a place of faith and heavenly victory. Jesus, join us
in that room and bring perfect love, healing of emotional wounds and forgiveness. I
thank Jesus for blessings already received in this difficult situation. Hail Mary, full
of grace pray for all of us.

Pray for us to get along with our landlord and never be homeless again. Pray God helps
us get along with family and they keeping being there for us. pray we are able to get on
our feet and have plenty and God restores us four fold. Pray for sunni and my mother.
pray God helps me get the right job and I find a wife. O Pray my elder brothers get
saved and God protects us from evil...

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 26 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.
