June 11th, 2017 Trinity Sunday
Oh, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, fill us with the love that You have as the Triune God.
Fill us with Your presence and let us be on fire, yet confident of how loved we are.
Let Your love for each other come upon us and let it set us on a course of loving actions
toward all around us.
Let Your love set upon us as a seal, a seal that cannot be broken through sin and
disobedience.
Continue to guide us to all truth and let us be instruments for You to others, to
better this beautifully created world that You gave us.
Let our fire cause us to see with Your eyes and love with Your love and touch with
Your touch.
Let us be as Christ to each other and let us raise our hearts to offer You praise and
worship through Your Church and its leaders.
Thank you for Your never failing presence.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday TRIPLE PLAY

"Moses at once bowed down to the ground in worship." -Exodus 34:8
A bishop was examining the candidates for Confirmation at a certain parish. He asked the
young people to tell him what the Holy Trinity was. A boy answered: "It's one-in-three,
and three-in-one." The bishop, gently probing to determine if the boy truly prepared for
the sacrament, said: "That's good, but I don't understand." The youth immediately
responded: "You're not supposed to!"
We can't ever grasp the how of the Holy Trinity, but we can know the Who. This is because
God continually reveals Himself to us. "Yes, God so loved the world that He gave His only
Son" (Jn 3:16) "to reveal" Himself more fully to us (Lk 10:22). The Father and the Son
pour out Their love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Rm 5:5), Who constantly
reminds us that we are now adopted children of God (Rm 8:15). Then the Holy Spirit helps
us to know the Father so deeply that we can't help but "cry out, 'Abba!'
(that is, 'Father')" (Rm 8:15; Gal 4:6).
When our heads start spinning in this cross-fire of Trinitarian love, we can respond as
did Moses, bowing to the ground in worship (Ex 34:8). Rejoice exultantly with all the
saints and angels, praising God "in the name 'of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit' " (Mt 28:19).
Prayer: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, grant that I may be caught up into the mystery of
Your Triune love each day.
Promise: "God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the
world might be saved through Him." -Jn 3:17
Praise: "Praise the Holy Trinity, undivided Unity, holy God, mighty God, God immortal,
be adored!"

Lord I ask that you keep my best friend and roommate Aaron with me here in
Pittsburgh. He is looking to make a move and I feel as he is only doing this to
please a family member as they want him to make this change. I feel that he feels
this is not the right move for him. His moving would be heartbreaking and
devastating.

I ask for prayers for my 11 year old niece Hannah who has cancer. May Jesus the
Shepard, have mercy and hear my prayer. Please give strength, courage and comfort
to Hannah and her family as they fight this wretched illness she does not deserve.
May they find the financial resources required so they can continue the treatments
to fight the cancer so she can have a complete recovery. Jesus says if you ask
anything in My name I will do it - I ask this in Jesus' name - Amen - Thank you.

I am the sole bread winner of the family. Urgent prayer request, please. I am

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 26 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.
