WALKING ON TIDAL WAVES
"At about three in the morning, [Jesus] came walking toward them on the lake." —Matthew 14:25

When Jesus walked on the water, He showed that He had the authority and power to “quickly crush Satan” under His feet (Rm 16:20) and to heal all diseases (see Mt 14:36). Jesus walks not just on water but on tidal waves and tempests. Because “full authority has been given” to Jesus “both in heaven and on earth” (Mt 28:18), “He is always able to save those who approach God through Him” (Heb 7:25). Jesus is the “Pantocrator,” the all-powerful God (see Rv 1:8). Jesus’ name is “above every other name” (Phil 2:9). Therefore, “there is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved” (Acts 4:12).

In this two-thousand twenty second anniversary of Jesus’ Incarnation, give your life totally to Jesus. Accept Jesus as your Savior, Lord, and God by His standards. Worship Jesus (see Rv 5:13).

Prayer: Father, teach me to walk on waves.

Promise: "From them will resound songs of praise, the laughter of happy men. I will make them not few, but many; they will not be tiny, for I will glorify them." —Jer 30:19

Praise: St. Peter Julian Eymard was a French priest with a deep devotion to the Holy Eucharist. He was the founder of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.
