Jesus, with what love, you have loved us.
You gave Your life, that we would have eternal life, and You gave
us Your Body and Blood, as the food of life.
This week, we commemorate Your passion and death, and your
institution of the Eucharist.
What a plan the Father had for us, that You, the true sacrifice of
redemption, was offered as a never ending eternal gift of
forgivness of sin.
Your suffering paid the price for all of us, for all time.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday SHOCK TREATMENTS

"He emptied Himself and took the form of a slave, being born in the
likeness of men. He was known to be of human estate, and it was
thus that He humbled Himself, obediently accepting even death,
death on a cross!" —Philippians 2:7-8
Today the Church tries to shock us into repentance by contrasting
the "Hosanna" of Palm Sunday with the "Crucify Him" of Good Friday.
How can human beings be so perverse as to viciously murder God
Himself, the perfectly loving and innocent Jesus? How can we be so
unfaithful and violent?
Our abuse of the Savior definitely proves we need a savior. In this
Holy Week, we must repent and radically change our lives. Like the
good thief, we must change from blasphemy (see Mt 27:44) to
commitment. Like the centurion, we must no longer rationalize our
sins but admit that Jesus is innocent and we are guilty of putting to
death the innocent God-Man (Lk 23:47; Catechism, 598). In
confessing our sins, we will give glory to God (see Lk 23:47).
Like Joseph of Arimathea, we can repent of giving in to fear and
being a "secret" disciple of Jesus (Jn 19:38). During this Holy Week,
we can become another Simon of Cyrene and carry the daily cross
(Lk 9:23) with Jesus. The way of the cross is over for Jesus but
continues for us. Holy Week is now. Repentance is now.

PM Internet Prayer Requests

I am a 22 year old student lost vision in the left eye suddenly. I
underwent three operations . About 10 hours I was on the
operation table. Still my treatment is going on. I have not got
my vision.Doctor treating me also left me in the hands of Almighty.
I request you to be kind enough to ask for God's mercy for me.

Please pray for all the children from our parish who will be
receiving their First Holy Communion in April - that this will be a
special encounter with Jesus for each one of these little children.
I pray specially for Alisha, Lord you know what she needs. Bless
her parents, grandparents and fill them with every grace and
blessing. May she continue to be a gift and a blessing to all
around her. Amen

I am loosing my full time job and need prayers for me to find
another full time job with health care. I am alone and have no one
to help me. I am a hard worker. Like many if I do not find work I will
loose my home. My health is good and I thank God every day but
I need to work .

Elys, who lost her husband a year ago, has returned to work after a
long illness entailing 3 months leave and is quite weak still. The
management is contemplating an early separation for her. She has
two daughters who are still studying and she needs to work to keep
them financially balanced. Please Lord touch her and heal her body,
mind and spirit, so she won't lose her job and her sanity. Bless her
daughters that they study well and are a solace and comfort to their
Mother and each other. Amen

Please pray that I will not return to crack cocaine usage. I have
battled crack addiction in the past, and have spent time in the
Hamilton County Jail in Cincinnati. I am now reporting to an
addiction clinic in Tennessee for rehabilitation. I need all the prayer
support that is available to me. Thanks for your prayers!
