August 19th 20th Sunday in ordinary time.
This week, Jesus, Your church celebrates the queenship of Mary,
as she so rightly deserves.
She was a faithful servant, and a tremendous example of trust
while on earth, and so she should be honored as Queen of
heaven and earth.
Let her intercession continue to cause grace to flow to all
of us.
Let Your love for mom flow also into us, and let us praise,
and glorify You as our Lord, God and King.
Let us see that Your plan of love is constantly working out
in everything, and give us the graces necessary for us to
really trust You every day in every way.
Thank You Jesus.
Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday THE WISDOM NOVENA

"Forsake foolishness that you may live; advance in the way of understanding." -Proverbs 9:6
Are you acting like a fool or a thoughtful person? (see Eph 5:15) The answer to this
question depends in part on whether you are making "the most of the present opportunity"
(Eph 5:16). You're a fool if you are saving up for a rainy day when "this very night your
life" may "be required of you" (Lk 12:20). You're a fool if you are not correctly
interpreting the present time (see Lk 12:56). Wise men and women know what time it is,
while fools don't (see Mt 25:1ff).
How can we "not continue in ignorance, but try to discern the will of the Lord"?
(Eph 5:17) If we eat Wisdom's food, we will be wise (Prv 9:4-5). Jesus is Wisdom Food
- in His word and in Holy Communion (see 1 Cor 1:24). If you receive Jesus, He will tell
you what time it is.
Ask the Lord if He wants you to make a novena of Masses in order to seek wisdom by eating
the food of Wisdom in Holy Communion for nine days. Many business people are devoting months
of research and thousands of dollars to interpret the times financially. Will you devote
about nine hours in nine days to interpret the times spiritually? Are you wise enough to
"try to discern the will of the Lord"? Will you ask Jesus to set your watch for you?
Prayer: Father, renew my Confirmation. Activate and deepen Your wisdom in my life.
Promise: "The man who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him." -Jn 6:56
Praise: Praise You, risen Jesus! You have triumphed over death and given us "life from the dead!" (Rm 11:15

Please pray for a woman after stroke, with ovarian cancer, it is very bad,doctors say it is
no hope. Please pray for every needed grace for her and for strength for rest of family,
especially her young son,who also has responsibility for ill father and brother. God bless

Lord, the next time the devil tries to get in my way or to block my path, help me to raise my
feet high, pound down as hard as I can, and stomp all over him as I march forward unhindered
to do Your will. I thank You that because of Your victory, Satan has no right to exercise this
kind of control over my life anymore! With You working as my Partner, I can stare that old
enemy in the face and command him to move. And if he tries to put up a fight, I can push him
out of the way and walk on through! I boldly declare that Jesus destroyed Satan's power over
me! Through Jesus' death and resurrection, the devil was utterly smashed, crushed, and bruised.
Now my God-given mission is to reinforce that glorious victory and to demonstrate just how
miserably defeated Satan already is. The enemy may try to lord himself over me, but he has no
authority to exercise any control in my life! Matt5:44 Ps59:1 Jer17:7 Ps6:9 I pray this in
Jesus' name!

Local Numbers Double Practically Overnight!
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 19 years. Begun by Fr. Al
in 1991, it now continues with three teachers trained by him and by Presentation
Ministries. In cities where local numbers have been established, the BTL provides
callers with a short teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer request which
will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day.
