October 29th 30th Sunday in ordinary time.
Jesus, Your church has chosen this time of the year to honor all our saints, those in
heaven and those in purgatory.
Those in heaven, we look to for inspiration to live lives in the grace of sainthood,
and to ask them to intercede for us and others.
But, we also especially pray for all those still being purified, so that they can
enter your heavenly kingdom to live with You, and the Father, and the Spirit, forever
and ever.
Jesus, let us all be prayer warriors for all who need prayer and supplication.
Let us never tire of praying, and at all times, let us pray in union with others of
just, in union with You, and all the saints.
Let us fill the earth with prayer and love,
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday LOVE LOVE HIMSELF

"I love You, O Lord, my Strength." -Psalm 18:2
Jesus revealed that the two greatest commandments were about loving God and our neighbor
(Mt 22:37-39). Jesus maintained that His mission was to show us the Father's love (Jn 15:9).
He commanded us to love even our enemies (Mt 5:44). Jesus said that we would be recognized
as His disciples because of our "love for one another" (Jn 13:35). Finally, Jesus laid down
His life for us when He died on the cross. "There is no greater love than this" (Jn 15:13).
The first Christians began to understand Jesus' life of love. They came to realize that:
- God the Father "so loved the world that He gave His only Son" (Jn 3:16).
- "Love never fails" (1 Cor 13:8).
- Without love, we are nothing (1 Cor 13:2).
- "Love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Pt 4:8).
- Love is greater than even faith or hope (1 Cor 13:13).
- "The love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit" (Rm 5:5).
Finally, the early Church came to the awesome conclusion that "God is Love, and he who
abides in Love abides in God, and God in him" (1 Jn 4:16; see 1 Jn 4:8). Love Love Himself.
Prayer: Father, may the love of Christ impel us (2 Cor 5:14) to make disciples of all
nations (Mt 28:19).
Promise: "The word of the Lord has echoed forth from you resoundingly." -1 Thes 1:8
Praise: Praise Jesus of Nazareth (Mk 10:47), Son of David (Mk 10:47, 48), Rabboni (Mk 10:51),
"the Resurrection and the Life" (Jn 11:25), Lord, and God!

Lord please watch of my pregnancy and the tiny life developing inside of me. Please nourish my
child and ensure my baby's perfect development. Please make his heart strong and filled with

I do not need a perfect life just a life knowing God is with me through all of it. Pray that I
feel God's love, know God's peace, God's strength, protection and comfort - please God bring
peace to my husband's and mine troubled souls. Some financial relief would help. Please hear
my prayer and the prayers of all the faithful. I ask this through Christ our Lord .. Amen -

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 26 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.
