March 29th, Fifth Sunday of Lent
Jesus, Lent is practically over, and we pray that we now know what exactly you want us to give You as an
Easter present.
Lord, what sin or defect of ours do You want that will help free us from the snares and entrapments of
this world?
Jesus, You gave us Lent as a time to pray, fast, and give alms, and You also gave us Lent as a time of
personal growth to You.
Help us to see that You always want us to become more like You, by growing in spirituality, and getting
freed from the ways fo the world.
By this freedom, we will be able to see the needs of others with clear eyes, that see to the heart.
Let us be vessels of love and forgivness to all.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday RESURRECTIONS

"I am the Resurrection and the Life: whoever believes in Me, though he should die, will come to life; and
whoever is alive and believes in Me will never die." -John 11:25-26
How strong is your faith that the Holy Spirit will raise your body from the dead on the last day? (Rm 8:11)
Do you believe your spirit will be raised at your death to meet the Lord? Do you believe Jesus still raises
people from the dead, as He raised Lazarus from the dead? (Jn 11:44; Mt 10:8) Do you believe Jesus'
Resurrection can transform your life now?
Jesus' Resurrection is a promise of the resurrection of the bodies and spirits of all His disciples. Jesus
continues to raise Lazaruses as proofs of His Resurrection and previews of ours. Jesus' past Resurrection
and our future resurrection should overshadow our present circumstances. Risen life begins when we believe
in the risen Lord, not when we die. All the resurrections go together. The Resurrection is past, present,
and future. The Resurrection is physical and spiritual. The Resurrection is historical, personal, and
eschatological.
We are a Resurrection people, or more precisely a resurrections-people. In these next two weeks, prepare to
celebrate the Resurrection with a faith and joy that is unexplainable except for those who have met the
risen Christ.
Prayer: Father, increase my faith in Your risen Son so that I become a new person.
Promise: "I will open your graves and have you rise from them." -Ez 37:12
Praise: Praise the risen Jesus, Who "is the Reflection of the Father's glory, the exact Representation of
the Father's being" (see Heb 1:3).

weeks with symptons similar to corona virus, he is feeling a little better today. Pray for complete

the enemy; and give her patience under his affliction. In thy good time, restore her to health, and enable

Pray for my grandson, Andre, 21, who had an emotional breakdown. In recent weeks he has lost his
girlfriend, his job, the dog that helped him through so many rough years and his home. He has a lot of
rage and His dad said he is emotionally rock bottom. There is a concern for suicide. Thank you so much

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 28 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with Deacon Ken Meade from the Archdiocese of Cleveland and two lay teachers, Jon Smith of
Fortville, IN and Darlene Davis of Greenfield, IN.. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on
the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also
leave a short prayer request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on
a separate line.

END HUNGER

The annual celebration of World Food Day emphasizes ... the needs, yearnings and hopes of millions of
persons who lack bread each day. Increasingly, there are more people who sadly make up part of that
great number of human beings who have nothing, or almost nothing to eat. It should be the opposite and
yet recent statistics are a painful proof of how international solidarity appears to be cooling.
"EFFECTIVE HELP"
The poor expect from us an effective help that takes them out of their misery... In this twenty-first
century that has seen considerable advances in the field of technology, science, communications and
infrastructure, we ought to feel shame for not having achieved the same advances in humanity and
solidarity, and so satisfy the primary needs of the most disadvantaged.
"WE MUST DO BETTER"
We are all called to go further. We can and we must do better for the helpless. We must move to concrete
action, so that the scourge of hunger disappears completely.
