August 10th, 19th Sunday in ordinary time
This week our church celebrates the feast of the Assumption
of our Mother Mary into heaven.
She is most deserving of this tremendous privledge of being
assumed into heaven after her death.
Her pure body couldn't be allowed to suffer corruption, since
she is the ark of the new, and eternal, covenant.
Jesus, please let us all realize that each of us are all a
special vessel that You created, and that we should all treat
each other with respect and love.
Let us all realize that we are children of God, and because
of that, no one should be deemed not worth living or loving.
Let us realize that we are all of the family of God. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday THE LITTLE WAY?

"How little faith you have!" —Matthew 14:31
Jesus' remark on Peter's little faith seems to also apply to
many Catholics in the USA. Jesus could certainly say to
many American Catholics:
"O you of little prayer time and Bible study."
"O you of little repentance and Confession."
"O you of little family sizes compared to Catholics of previous
centuries."
"O you of little vocations to priesthood and religious life."
"O you of little contributions and little faith" (see Mt 14:31).
"O you of dwindling Sunday Mass attendance."
No wonder the world doesn't pay much attention to the Lord.
It merely reads the messages that our lifestyles often display:
that we don't believe God is big enough to trust with all our
heart, mind, soul, strength, and life (Lk 10:27). If we who
belong to Him only regard God as worthy of a little bit of our
lives, why should the worldly take Him seriously?
The good news is that God understands littleness. Jesus
came to earth as a little child. He welcomed the little ones
(Mt 18:2). The Lord spoke to Elijah through a "tiny" voice
(1 Kgs 19:12). Jesus compared God's kingdom to the "smallest"
mustard seed (Mt 13:31-32). Therefore, come to Jesus with
the little strength you have (Jgs 6:14; Mt 11:28). If you must
remain little, then follow St. Therese's little way, and become
like a little child (Mt 18:3). Trust God with all your life.

to buy from him so he can retain his job at his company .
I pray that he is a top sales person for the month of August

Please pray for my son who is 3 1/2. I am expecting a baby
any day now and he has been very hard to handle. His
behavior is beyond my control without the help of the holy
spirit. My husband does not know how to handle him and I
am feeling very depressed about having another baby boy
any day now given the current situation. please pray that life
would become easier for us as parents so we can have joy
again. I feel like we are being robbed of our joy by having kids
yet we want them. I've gone to several parenting classes and
we're still having problems .

tomorrow. That he would sell a few campers as well as meet
some good prospectsand have fun doing so. That he would
not let the stress of our current situation stand in the way
and he would just have a fun day and be at peace. That my
