August 31st, 22nd Sunday in ordinary time
Jesus, this week, in the United States of America, they
celebrate a day called Labor day.
This day is to give Americans the understanding that work
is a necessary thing for all people who are able to work.
There should be a dignity to work and a fair pay for the work done.
Jesus, help us to really care about all the people in parts
of this world who are being underpaid for their efforts, and
let us all try to do what we can to correct that injustice.
Let us realize that work is Your gift to man, so that we can
nourish ourselves, and our families, with the necessary things of life.
Let us pray for fair pay and good benifits to all. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday BODY-LANGUAGE

"I beg you through the mercy of God to offer your bodies as
a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God." —Romans 12:1
We must offer our bodies as sacrifices to God. We are also
called to offer our "bodies to God as weapons for justice"
(Rm 6:13). We must know that our bodies are temples "of
the Holy Spirit, Who is within" (1 Cor 6:19). Our bodies are
sacrifices, weapons, and temples. Because our bodies are
sacrifices, we must deny ourselves and let God consume us
(see Heb 12:29). We must give God our best so as not to
offer defective sacrifices (see Mal 1:7-8).
Because our bodies are weapons, we must not be "bloated
with indulgence and drunkenness and worldly cares" (Lk 21:34).
We should fight by wielding the "sword of the Spirit" (Eph 6:17),
and the spiritual weapons of prayer and fasting (Mt 17:21, NAB).
We must be in shape to "fight the good fight" of evangelization (1 Tm
1:18).
Because our bodies are temples, they should be holy, clean,
peaceful, and joyous. We need to repent of our sins, go to
Confession, and enthrone Jesus as Lord of our lives and our
bodies. Although our bodies are weak and fragile, they are
precious in God's eyes. If we use them to glorify Him, He
will glorify our bodies and raise them from the dead
(see Phil 3:21). "So glorify God in your body" (1 Cor 6:20).

too late. Blessed Mother go to Raena now in the ICU and
relieve her suffering through the powerful intercession of
your Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart of your Son,
Jesus beating as one. Take Raena and her family in your

problem with anger, and I don't know even why. Please

Please pray for my family the Walters. my dad is in need
of help for he was acting controlling and gruff towards
others kind of like a threatening person. The spirit was
not good in other words. Been putting up with that for 2
decades almost. I need a home of my own, but for now I
need God to help. I see him as a threat to my well being
and health. That is not normal. As if there is a spirit of
Tyranny, fear. was thinking of humility being necessary.
