January 10th The baptism of the Lord
Jesus, You were baptised in the river Jordon by John the Baptist,
to show us all the value and need for baptism.
This sacrament truly makes us all sons and daughters of God.
What an amazing gift we receive.
Who can't truly understand Your love for us, that even though we
are naturally prone to sin, we are called to come above our human
condition and be Your brothers and sisters.
Help us to realize that Your love also calls us to live our baptismal
promises, to reject satan, and all evil spirits.
Help us to help.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday SURPRISE PARTY

"The people were full of anticipation." -Luke 3:15
Many people expected John the Baptizer to be the Messiah (Lk 3:15). Their
expectations for a Messiah were too low because Jesus, "Who is mightier"
than John, is the Messiah (Lk 3:16).
Peter had seen God work through him to raise Tabitha from the dead
(Acts 9:40). Under these circumstances, he expected his initial visit to
the house of a Gentile to be significant. However, God far exceeded his
expectations by pouring out the Holy Spirit on the Gentile, Cornelius,
and his entire household (Acts 10:45).
Today, on the last day of the Christmas season, we should have high
expectations. The Lord is sure to love us in wondrous ways. Nevertheless,
no matter how high our expectations, they will always be too low because
they can never match God's infinite love for us.
Because the Lord will do immeasurably more than we can ever ask for or
imagine (Eph 3:20), we may not understand what He is doing. However, we
must have faith in His promises. We have to expect the Lord to establish
"justice on the earth" (Is 42:4), "open the eyes of the blind" (Is 42:7),
"bring out prisoners from confinement" (Is 42:7), heal those "in the grip
of the devil" (Acts 10:38), baptize us "in the Holy Spirit and in fire"
(Lk 3:16), and so much more.
Prayer: Father, surprise me again with the Holy Spirit. Thank You for this
Christmas season.
Promise: "A voice from heaven was heard to say: 'You are My beloved Son.
On You My favor rests.' " -Lk 3:22
Praise: Praise Jesus, the Christ-Child, Savior of the world, Light of
lights, and risen Lord. Alleluia to Him Who was dead and yet lives.

healthy financial status for all. I ask forgiveness of sins for all mankind.
You put us all on this earth, good or bad, we're all Your children and You
love us. Please let there be a revival of love for You our Heavenly Father,
and for Jesus, our Savior , for His mother, Mary and all the saints. Please
heal the earth whom we've ruined and bring forth abundance of clean water
for all to drink. Stop the flames that we have caused to consume our forests
and lands. Please speak to the hearts who have so much hate for those not
like them. Again, we are all Your children. I thank You Lord for the good
You have given me. I love You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I praise and bless God our Father. Prayer of petition and thanks to Hugo,
Reggie and Drew for their temporal wants, spiritual wants, conversion,
spiritual well-being, material well-being, future human basic necessities,
salvation, and "don de la gracia santificante," for their family and
friends with concrete confident tender fervent love from my heart infusing
it to Mary's heart uniting this prayer of petition with the masses
throughout the world today and giving thanks be to God. Amen

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 24 years.
Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now continues with one deacon of the
Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short
teaching on the readings for the daily Mass. It is available 24
hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the
next day on a separate line. Daily audio reflections are also
