CHANGE THE SUBJECT
"In subjecting all things to Him, God left nothing unsubjected. At present we do not see all things thus subject, but we do see Jesus crowned with glory and honor." -Hebrews 2:8-9
Everyone and everything is to be subjected to Jesus. "He went to heaven and is at God's right hand, with angelic rulers and powers subjected to Him" (1 Pt 3:22). "Now He waits until His enemies are placed beneath His feet" (Heb 10:13), "so that at Jesus' name every knee must bend in the heavens, on the earth, and under the earth, and every tongue proclaim to the glory of God the Father: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!" (Phil 2:10-11)
"Christ must reign until God has put all enemies under His feet, and the last enemy to be destroyed is death" (1 Cor 15:25-26). "He will give a new form to this lowly body of ours and remake it according to the pattern of His glorified body, by His power to subject everything to Himself" (Phil 3:21). "When, finally, all has been subjected to the Son, He will then subject Himself to the One Who made all things subject to Him, so that God may be all in all" (1 Cor 15:28).
In total love, worship Jesus and joyfully throw yourself at His feet.
Prayer: King Jesus, thank You for the privilege of being Your subject.
Promise: "All who looked on were amazed. They began to ask one another: 'What does this mean? A completely new teaching in a spirit of authority! He gives orders to unclean spirits and they obey!' " -Mk 1:27
Praise: Joyce often prays simply by gazing up a crucifix and wordlessly praising her Savior.
