June 16th Holy Trinity
Jesus, the Trinity is a mystery that we just have to believe.
Give us the grace to just believe and give the triune God praise and glory.
Lord, let us be amazed that the father loves us so much that He sent His only begotten son that we
may be freed from the effects of sin and so attain the right to be called children of the triune God.
Thank You, father, son and Holy spirit for Your love and grace.
Thank You for all the many ways You show us that love, and thank You for using us to love others.
Amen and Amen.
Thank You Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday MORE OF GOD

"We are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -Romans 5:1
Most people know there is a God. Some people even experience that God is present, loving, and/or
personal. Others only sense God as a force. Those people who are aware of God as a person know they
can reject God by sinning. They sometimes know when they're not at peace with God. Then they feel a
need to get right with God, to be justified (Rm 5:1). Few people experience much more of God than
this, but there is much, much more of God. Jesus said to His disciples: "I have much more to tell
you" (Jn 16:12).
God is Trinity, three Persons in one God. God is a family. God has become a man. This God-made-Man is
Jesus (see Jn 1:14), Who is fully God and fully Man. There is so much more to God than our
experiences. The holiest saints who have ever lived have only just begun to know God. "Eye has not
seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love
Him" (1 Cor 2:9).
On this Trinity Sunday, may we experience in a new way the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of
wisdom (Ps 111:10). May we devote all our energies to developing as deep a personal relationship with
the Trinity as possible. May we let the Spirit guide us to all truth about the Trinity (Jn 16:13).
Prayer: Father, Son, and Spirit, I give my life to You. May I be baptized - immersed - into You
(see Mt 28:19).
Promise: "The love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been
given to us." -Rm 5:5
Praise: "O most Holy Trinity, undivided Unity; Holy God, mighty God, God immortal, be adored."

Bible Telephone Line
The Bible Telephone Line (BTL) has been in operation for 27 years. Begun by Fr. Al in 1991, it now
continues with one deacon of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and two lay teachers trained by
Presentation Ministries. The BTL provides callers with a short teaching on the readings for the
daily Mass. It is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Callers may also leave a short prayer
request which will be shared on the line with the other callers the next day on a separate line.

THE CHURCH AND THE POOR
For her part, the Catholic Church, in the exercise of the mission with which her divine Founder has
entrusted her, struggles daily throughout the world against hunger and malnutrition in multiple ways
and through her various structures and associations, remembering that those who suffer from misery
are not different from us. They share our flesh and blood. They deserve ... a friendly hand to help
and support them, in such a way that no one is left behind, so that in our world fraternal
solidarity may boast its own identity card and citizenship, beyond any flashy slogans void of
substance.

be cooling.

The poor expect from us an effective help that takes them out of their misery... In this
twenty-first century that has seen considerable advances in the field of technology, science,
communications and infrastructure, we ought to feel shame for not having achieved the same advances
in humanity and solidarity, and so satisfy the primary needs of the most disadvantaged.
