March 15th Third Sunday of Lent
This week, oh Christ, Your church celebrates the feast day
of St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus, and husband of
Mary, our mother.
In this feast, let us realize that trusting in You and Your
divine plan isn't always easy, but through You, it is able to
be accomplished.
Joseph was obedient to Your call, and gave up his trust in
the law.
By following Your angels prompting, he saved the life of You
and Mary.
Joseph is a great example of how we should trust You, and
truly realize that You have a marvelous plan that will work
out perfectly as You so chose.
Let us have the peace of Joseph, and realize that although
not easy, walking with You can be done and Your will, will
be done.
Thank You Jesus. Amen and Amen
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

One Bread, One Body
This weeks readings and reflections
Sunday SPRING CLEANING
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=3/15/2009
"He made a [kind of] whip of cords and drove sheep and oxen
alike out of the temple area, and knocked over the
money-changers' tables, spilling their coins." —John 2:15
This Lent, Jesus will cleanse the temples of our lives to
whatever degree we let Him. Many people want Jesus to just
dust them a little or simply brush over them with a damp rag.
Very few want Jesus to get out the vacuum cleaner and get
down to some serious spring cleaning. Fewer still want
Jesus to get out a whip of cords, knock over those things in
their lives that are not His will, and drive them out. Why don't
we trust Jesus enough to let Him really clean house?
If you are willing to have the Lord do spring cleaning on you:
1. Go to Confession at least twice this Lent.
2. Ask the Holy Spirit to take you to the cross and convict
you of sin (Jn 16:8).
3. By God's grace, decide to forgive everyone and apologize
to those you have delayed in forgiving.
4. Ask the Lord to forgive your unknown faults and to heal
your subconscious (Ps 19:13).
5. Ask others to lay hands on you and pray for healing of
your mind, body, and spirit.
6. Ask the Lord to purify you through a fast of several days.
7. Thank the Lord for cleansing you as if you were a newly
baptized baby (see 2 Kgs 5:14).
Monday WALKY-TALKY
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=3/16/2009
"He turned about in anger and left. But his servants came up
and reasoned with him." —2 Kings 5:12-13
Tuesday CHEERFUL FORGIVER
http://presentationministries.com/obob/obob.asp?d=3/17/2009
"That is why the reign of God may be said to be like a king
who decided to settle accounts with his officials." —Matthew 18:23

A voice shall sound in your ears: 'This is the way; walk in it,'

Life-decisions are those that relate to vocation, ministry,
employment, education, residence, etc.
Life-decisions deal with such questions as:
Should I be married or single?
Should I be a priest, deacon, brother, or sister?
Should I go to college?
Should I change jobs?
Should I move if I'm transferred on my job?
Should I buy this house in this city?
Should I retire now?
The answers to these very important questions are found
by first answering three other more important questions:
"Who is Jesus?"
"Who am I in Christ?"
"What is God's plan for my life?"
When we answer these three questions, all the other .........

Pope Benedict XVI, Shepherd of Truth
Notable quotations from Pope Benedict XVI and official
teachings of the Roman Catholic Church
YOUTH AND HOPE
"FIRM AND RELIABLE"
The question of hope is truly central to our lives as human
beings and our mission as Christians, especially in these
times. We are all aware of the need for hope, not just any
kind of hope, but a firm and reliable hope.
"A SPECIAL TIME OF HOPE"
Youth is a special time of hope because it looks to the
future with a whole range of expectations. When we are
young we cherish ideals, dreams and plans. Youth is the
time when decisive choices concerning the rest of our
lives come to fruition.
NO GUARANTEE
Experience shows that personal qualities and material
goods are not enough to guarantee the hope which the
human spirit is constantly seeking.
