Jesus, Easter and Divine Mercy Sundays have passed, and now
we are back to the daily ways of life.
But Jesus, in You there isn't any ordinary ways of life.
We are called to be new creations, we are called to be on fire
with love for You and graced to help others.
Jesus, never let us feel ordinary, but let us feel as new vessals
of love, joy and peace.
Lord, let us spread Your love to others, by how we live.
Lord, let us draw others to You by our examples of love, joy
and peace.
Jesus, remind us that we are pilgrims on a journey through
life that is leading us to Your heavenly home.
Let us not be so concerned and worried, about the pressures
of life, but, see Your love and help in all situations.
Thank You Jesus. Amen and Amen.
Thank you Lord, for loving us totally.

Sunday SIN RUINS THE PARTY

"He is an Offering for our sins, and not for our sins only, but
for those of the whole world." —1 John 2:2
The Easter season is a fifty-day Sunday, according to St. Athanasius.
Throughout the Easter season the Lord wants to move us from grace
to grace (Jn 1:16, JB) as we "are being transformed from glory to glory
into His very image by the Lord Who is the Spirit" (2 Cor 3:18).
This may seem like an unrealistic description of Easter. Many people,
even Christians, have long since forgotten about Easter 2009, although
liturgically we've only just begun to celebrate the risen Christ. Our
spirit
of celebration may be stifled because of sin. When we refuse to repent
of sin, we go back into the death of the tomb. We withdraw from the
resurrection-life.
"Therefore, reform your lives! Turn to God, that your sins may be wiped
away!" (Acts 3:19) "I am writing this to keep you from sin. But if anyone
should sin, we have, in the presence of the Father, Jesus Christ, an
Intercessor Who is just. He is an Offering for our sins, and not for our
sins only, but for those of the whole world" (1 Jn 2:1-2). Confession,
the Sacrament of Reconciliation, is an Easter sacrament (see Jn 20:23).
Repent, go to Confession, and celebrate the whole Easter Season now
and forever.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He spent the afternoon walking
almost seven miles with two disciples. On this walk, Jesus
interpreted for them every passage of the Scriptures which
referred to Him (Lk 24:27). On the evening of that first Easter
Sunday, Jesus opened the apostles' minds to the understanding
of the Scriptures (Lk 24:45). Jesus made it clear from the several
hours He spent in the word on the first resurrection-day that
believing deeply in His resurrection and hearing God's word
were interrelated.
With this in mind, I invite you to read the whole New Testament
in the fifty-day Easter season. The Lord will give you the grace

illness. Pray that her mind be clear, alert, stable, peaceful,

of mind so she is able to think straight at all times and ability
to make clear decision. Give her a good mind, a teachable
spirit and an ability to learn. Instill in her a desire to attain
knowledge and skill. Please give her the wisdom she needs
to choose friends who are godly. Deliver her from anyone with
ungodly character so she will not learn that person's way.
Take away any loneliness or low self-esteem that would cause
her to seek ungodly friendship. Please bring Godly friends and
role models into her life.

RELIGIOUS VOCATIONS
"URGENT CALL"
The exhortation of Jesus to His disciples: "Pray therefore the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into His harvest" (Mt 9:38) has a constant
resonance in the Church. Pray! The urgent call of the Lord stresses that
prayer for vocations should be continuous and trusting.
FAITH, HOPE AND PRAYER

in God's providence" (Sacramentum Caritatis, 26) if it is enlivened by
prayer.
